Characters: Ro, Nessie, 13th doctor

"Wait, what was that?" Nessie gripped Ro's sleeve and drew her in closer.

"How am I supposed to know?" Ro asked in return. She shifted her body closer to Nessie as her fear grew.

The two of them huddled closer when they heard the scream again. The scream was high-pitched and confirmed Nessie's suspicion that it was a woman screaming.

With each breath she took, whoever or whatever that was screaming was getting closer and closer. The more she heard it, the less she feared it. She knew that voice.

"Wait, isn't that-"

The doctor emerged from the left, in front of them. Her coat trailed behind her as she ran. Nessie was surprised by the fire raging behind her.

"You blew something up?!-"

"Not again-"

Grasping both of their hands, the doctor dashed away from the explosion she had most likely caused. "No talking just run!"

They took off, not pausing to catch their breath. When they made it out of the possibility of being burned alive, Nessie's legs were jello-like. She had forgotten what it felt like to run everywhere and not just zap! and you're there.

Ro dropped to the ground beside her, breathing heavily. "Need. Water. Tired."

"Really? You two got tired just like that?" The doctor scoffed loudly, shaking her head while her eyes rolled. "Kids nowadays."

Well, don't forget that you were once an old man doc-

"Oh shut up, what was that all about anyway?" She stopped Ro's string of thoughts and asked the doctor.

"Oi Attitude!" The doctor chided, thinking Nessie had told her to shut up.

Nessie had quickly put up her hands. "I didn't mean-"

The doctor answered her question before she could explain. "I might have got separated from the others and gotten caught so I had to-"

"-blow the place up?" Ro snorted, slowly standing up.

"Excuse you, I intended it as a distraction." The doctor sassed.

A full-blown explosion was definitely distracting.

Nessie heaved a long, drawn-out sigh. She and her sister were going to have a fun day together. They had picked the perfect place, no, the perfect planet so they wouldn't be caught up in an invasion or something. To be fair, Earth was just a trouble magnet the size of a planet. So they had found a small planet they thought would be fun exploring.

The people were very nice and welcoming. At least the few they've met. However, the planet itself was- meh. It was certainly beautiful with all the life and colours everywhere.

But it was too – dare she say it – quiet, normal, peaceful.

She blamed the Doctor for them always expecting the unexpected. And of course something happened.

"Fine, I'll make it up to you." The doctor abruptly stated. She was feeling a little guilty for putting them in such a dangerous situation.

"How?" Ro side-eyed the Doctor as she helped Nessie to her feet.

"Uhh, free cakes?" Both of them shook their heads. If they wanted cake they would've zapped away to Amy and Rory's house.

The Doctor thought to herself. What would teenagers want? Back when she was younger and an old man (ironic) what she wanted was- That's it!

"What about I let you borrow the TARDIS..." She started. "You could fly it to wherever you want-"

"DEAL!" They answered together. "No take backs!" Ro added quickly.

The doctor was less confident than she was before. That probably was a bad idea. The two girls led her to where the TARDIS was parked. Before she could ask how they even knew where it was, she was pulled inside.

"Where do you think we should go doc?"

"You're asking me?" The doctor had thought they would be the ones to pick the destination.

"Well duh, who else would know the vast choices of places across the universe?"

"Yeah, come on! You can be our tour guide!!" Ro chuckled.

Laughing at the thought of being a tour guide, the doctor quickly listed off places they could go to.
