*Kuoh Academy Forest, Nobody's POV*

"Lord Riser must be desperate." Siris muttered quietly as she lead her small group.

Currently she, Marion, Burent, and the twins Ni and Li were instructed to infiltrate Rias's base.

"He has right to be." Burent muttered in her usual monotone voice while keeping a close eye on their surroundings. "But to send over a quarter of us on a play of desperation?" Marion asked in her equally monotonous voice. "Well if we get lucky and promote to queens, I think we might stand a chance." Ni offered cheerfully. "I think we're being watched..." Li muttered as her ears began to twitch.

"Where?" Siris asked drawing her zweihander.

"Everywhere...." Li whispered as the 5 made a circle.

Surrounded by the thick fog that was cast over the forest the whole group had trouble seeing. But was most concerning was the chill's that were going up their spines. "There!" Ni shouted suddenly. Turning to where the redhead was pointing they saw their target.

The ORC Clubroom.

Walking carefully towards the building they all took in the lack of obstacles.

At least until a loud cracking sound echoed behind them.

Whirling on their heels they took a defensive stance as they prepared for an ambush. Finding nothing they were about to turn again only to freeze as a black smoke began seeping towards them.

"RUN!!" Siris screamed.

Flinching slightly all 5 girls began a mad dash towards the building as the smoke encircled and chased them. Barging through the door Siris held it open for her comrades before slamming the door shut. Jumping back she watched as the twins dropped a large shelf in front of the door. "I think that'll slow him." Ni smiled cheerfully. "You think a wood door will hold him?!" Li almost shouted at her sister. "Look we're safe for now, let's focus on getting into the Clubroom." Siris ordered before the twins started fighting.

"Are you so sure?" A raspy voice whispered from all around them.

Jumping out of their skin at the sudden voice, the 5 went back to back as they inched towards the stairs.

Suddenly with a loud cracking noise a large jagged metal blade shot from the floor near the entrance and began heading towards the group like a sharks fin.

"MOVE!!" Siris shouted, pushing the group towards the stairs. Only to be stopped when Marion suddenly tripped. About to help the girl Siris froze when she saw a jagged metal tendril impaled through her gut. Screaming loudly the poor maid was ripped backwards into a now forming smoke the remaining girls booked it as fast as they could up the stairs.

"Lord Riser, 1 Pawn Retired." A voice announced loudly.

Sprinting as fast as they could the girls burst into the Clubroom with Siris wasting no time in closing the door.

"Promote, Queen!" Ni and Li shouted in sync. Thinking they finally caught a break the Rook took a breath. Only to feel it hitch when she noticed a distinct lack of promotions. "Promote, Queen! Promote, Queen! Why isn't this working!!!" The usually monotonous maid asked frantically.

About to try again she hardly got a letter out before freezing. Looking to the girl in confusion it quickly turned to dread as they noticed the blood flowing from the maids throat. About to fall forward Burent was lifted into the air suddenly before being tossed to the side. Sparing a glance as the maid's body disappeared in blue light, before quickly stepping back in fear.

Standing invisible in front of them was something. The only reason they could see it was due to the blood that stained its massive claws.

"Game... Over..."
