Well here I go again. I know I know, I'm a dirty lier. Saying I'll have next chapter by next week only to post it the next day. The gears have been turning Ya know? That and I don't have a life (80% because of me, 20% due to COVID).
Happy to announce I have decided on the rest of the first peerage. Still have the second to work on so if y'all got idea's feel free to shotball them. We got 8 Pawns, a Queen, and 2 Rooks/Bishops/Knights to decide on.
I'm considering adding the Sitri peerage to the harem. Thoughts?
Now let's get going shall we. (P.s We will be dominantly left handed. So unless specified whenever I refer to hand it will be the left, and offhand the right)
*Kuoh Academy Roof, 11:50AM*
"Alex?" A voice whispered from behind. Freezing at the sound of that voice my mind raced to deny what I heard. Turning around slowly what I feared was true. Standing before me was Akeno, fully grownup and staring at me intently.
Taking a step back I felt my back hit the guard rail.
"Akeno?" I muttered out, pure disbelief in my voice.
Lighting up she started walking towards me slowly. "I, I can't believe it's you. I can't believe you're here." She praised getting closer.
"STAY BACK!" I screamed while morphing my hand into a spike rifle and taking aim.
"You... your not... I... I watched you die! You're not real!" I yelled trying to move further away, the rail preventing me. Freezing herself at the sight of the 'gun' pointed at her she held her arms up in surrender. "It is me. I didn't die that day." She said in attempt to calm me down.
Looking away towards the floor I was thankful for my hood obscuring my face. Because I was the textbook definition of a panic attack. Bringing my free hand to clutch my head, I racked my brain trying to believe what ever this was.
Another part denying it vehemently.
"Nonononoonon, no, NO. Your not real, you can't be real." I muttered under my breath, my body shaking.
"I am real." She said taking another step closer. "All those years ago, I didn't die, you saved me." She explained much to my confusion. "Impossible. No one.... Nobody could've...." I tried to rationalize in my head.
I've had these kind of disassociation's before. Some part of me that could never let go. Praying to whatever god their could be that she was alive.
"You teleported her." Vierra said in shock pulling me from my thoughts. "What?" I asked disbelief and... hope? Dripping into my voice. "When you tried to hold the barrier. You wished that it would hold. Or that Akeno wasn't there." She explained.
I stood there frozen. My only movement was my quaking arms, and erratic breathing.
I remember... I remember a... crater. Scorched earth. Nothing left behind but her pendant.
"You also remember that in the crater where Akeno was, was untouched by the devastation." She reasoned.
"Alex?" Akeno said again, this time extremely close, the only thing keeping her way was my rifle pointed at her head.
Seeing her so close I froze, my body nearly becoming a statue. Gently she places one hand on my gun, and gently pushed it down. Morphing the weapon back to a hand I held hers, a familiar feeling washing over me. With her other hand, she gingerly cups the side of my face.
Immediately, like a fire rekindling, a bond reforging, I knew.
She was real.
Hardly able to contain myself I reached forward and pulled her into a hug. The both of us standing there until tears of joy fell from both of our eyes. Pulling my head out of her neck we took a short moment to look into each others eyes.
