Migration

3rd P.O.V

Months passed winter was coming. Manny and the herd had to migrate to find food for survival.

Their journey was long that took several weeks.

They all missed Diego in their herd. Wishing he could join them.

Manny spoke, "I wish Diego was here."

Ellie spoke, "That all we want. I bet he is living a good life. Sad for Shira she couldn't stop talking about Diego thinking about their relationship."

Shira spoke, "Diego is against our relationship. I don't know what to do."

Soto spoke, "Shira stop mentioning about Diego. He's gone."

"He is a good friend of mine!"

Shira was in tears crying the whole time thinking Diego is gone forever.

Weeks passed finally they reached their destination. They found plenty of food and water.

Shira and Soto noticed is marked territory.

Shira spoke, "Manny this is someone territory."

Manny spoke, "We can talk to them."

The herd entered the territory knowing it can be dangerous.

After they were wondering for a while. They noticed that they are being watched.

Soto and Shira stood their guard. Until they couldn't believe what they saw. When got out from their hiding spot. It was Diego and a another saber.

Diego P.O.V

I walked out of my hiding spot also Sara came out too.

They seemed surprised to see us. It was mixed animals. Sabers, mammoths, sloths, and possums.

The mammoth spoke, "Diego?! Is that you?"

Sara spoke to me, "Do you know this guys Diego?"

I responded, "I have no idea."

I spoke to the mammoth, "Yeah my name is Diego."

Then the white saber came at me. Wondering what she is up to. Then the white saber slapped me on the face.

She grabs me and spoke crying, "Where were you?! I been waiting for your return. Are you against my relationship with Soto?!"

I was looking at her confused then I started laughing. The white saber looked at me confused.

I spoke, "Why would I have against your relationship. Jeez calm down like you seen a ghost."

The whi saber spoke, "You are not acting normal Diego."

"Normal? I am normal. What you guys want?"

An orange saber spoke, "We came here to live here for while."

"Okay you go to the cave other side of the hill."

The white saber looks at me crying. I didn't understand why she was crying so much. I started to walk away with Sara.

The saber stood there crying. I felt bad that she was crying but I don't how to help.

Sara and I were hunting together as normal.

Sara spoke, "Hey Diego is kinda odd they know your name?"

I spoke, "Yeah. It seems like I knew them before but I have no memory of them. It difficult for me to live without my memories."

"I know it's hard but you eventually remember."

"Yeah I hope."

Hours passed it was dark. Sara and I went to the cave. We sleep apart as always. I started to feel tired.

I closed my eyes trying to sleep. Eventually I couldn't sleeping because something in my head was bothering me.

Sara was in a deep sleep as I was trying to relax my mind. As I was half asleep. I felt something was close to me.

I could hear someone sniffing in tears.

It spoke, "What happened to you Diego? Why you left us? I wanted to hug you but it seems you don't know us. Tell what happened."

I felt a kiss on my head and left. I didn't want to get up. I just feel tired to deal with it. I want to know what actually happened before I lost my memories but at the same time I don't want know if I had sad life.
