A dream

It's all a dream

Diego P.O.V

Next morning I woke up. I saw Shira is sleeping next to me. I just can't help but smile.

Something was telling me that time is running out. The only thing I wanted to be with Shira.

Then Shira woke up and saw me watching over her.

Shira spoke, "Good morning Diego."

I spoke, "Good morning Shira."

"Are you ready for the day?"

"Yeah."

"I'll stay here and you go out hunting."

I was confused what Shira said. Then I felt my body light. I didn't have control of my body.

Suddenly I black out.

Then I woke up in my cave. I began to look around I realized it was all a dream all along.

I felt a warm body next to me. It was Shira my mate. I looked over her body and it was the cubs sleeping next to her.

I thought it was real all along but it was dream. Soto is dead. Sara never existed. We are away from the herd for some time.

I began to lick Shira's fur. I was taking care of her. Then Shira started wake up.

Shira spoke, "Good morning softie."

"Good morning kitty."

Shira started purring on my chest.

Shira spoke, "Did you had a good sleep softie."

I responded, "I don't know how to respond. I had a dream."

"Tell me what you dream."

"Okay. The dream was about us. Like our lives were different. Soto was alive and he was my bestfriend. You two were dating. I lost my memories by hitting my head on the tree. You cried for me. It took like a year to recover. We started to live happily."

Shira spoke, "Interesting. But I have no idea how Soto looks like."

"Yeah. Now I think about. I thought it was real but no."

Then Shira places her paw on my face and spoke, "I will always love you. The day saved me from my crew that when I fell in love with you.Now we live like family."

I spoke, "I'm happy to have you as my mate. It took me a lot of courage to ask you to be my mate."

"I was waiting for you to ask me."

"Yeah. I need to go hunt before the kittens get hungry."

"Right."

Then I kissed Shira and kissed my cubs on their foreheads.

I spoke, "I'll be back."

I started to head out to the woods. I started to run I felt my mind free. I was glad I was living a happy life with Shira.
