Taciturn
Touch me
With the flickering light
Of a shooting star.
Only for a second
Ephemeral
Once your body
Reaches me
You'll burn
And consume
Distilling candor
Beaming passionate resonance
And clash upon my surface
Maybe for an instant
Brief
Once
Time enough
To grant my wish
You'll die within my hills
And I'll find beneath
This soil
The remnants
Of your taciturn existence.
