I will dance out in the night
When the moon is low and bright,
And the moorcock sings to Peter.
My life like lemons is bitter
And I need to run and hide.
Mighty Jesus will abide
To be my refuge and rock.
That when three times the moorcock
Sings in the blissful night
All my kin will see the light
And we'll walk over the river.
Strong is the enemy but won't quiver
In the quest The Lord commanded.
A column of fire will guard the stranded
And the clouds will cover my head.
From the skies will fall bread
And His servants will not perish
And the hymns of the garish
And sad will sound with joy
For our enemy You will destroy.
When the moorcock sings tonight
All my kin will see the light.
