There are dreams
that come in a needle
Pleasant, sweet
first strong, then feeble
Ragged threads of gold
sweep the floor
Thoughts dark, numb
opened the door
that leads to heaven
and takes her to hell
Her walking uneven
a chiming bell
pulse the vein
and there's no kin
or love... No home
Snowy critter
the screeching gnome
laughing bitter
while you dance
and touch the sky
Another life is lost
and we'll never know why.
