I Had Followed The Youngest, Who If I Remember Correctly, Was Named Payson. "Where Are We Going, Kiddo?" I Say Trying To Remain Positive. I Left Right After The Oldest Kid Had Pointed Out All Of Our Names. Me And Y/n Clearly Only Stated Our Hero Names, So I Knew Something Was Up. That Book Could Hold All Of The Answers. She Would Never Let Me Or One Of My Friends Near It. So I Had A Plan. I Would Befriend The Youngest And Trick Him Into Getting The Book And Giving It To Me. "Kiddo?" I Ask Still Waiting For A Response. "The Basement To Defeat The Monster! Duh!" The Boy Says Looking Back At Me. "Oh." I Say Realizing I Was Going In This Alone. "Are My Friends Allowed To Come And Help Us?" I Say Looking At The Door To The Basement. "Nope! Not Until Later!" He Says Opening The Door. "Why Later...?" I Ask. I Really Can't Do This Alone. "You'll See!" He Says With A Giggle As He Starts Down The Stairs. Were We Going In The Dark? Worst Idea Ever. "Hey Kid Did You Bring Any Source Of Light?" I Say. "Yup! Here Ya Go!" He Says Tossing Me A Wooden Sword And A Lighter. "Ok...?" I Say Getting A Grip Of The Sword And Lit The Lighter. "Good Luck, Aqua!" He Says Motioning Me To Go Ahead Alone. "Thanks? Oh And Can You Try To Get That Book Your Sister Had?" I Said As I Look Ahead Into The Dim Basement, Which Looked Like Went On Forever. "The Element Book?" He Says Heading Onto The Stairs. "Yeah, That One." I Say Looking Back At Him. "Uhhhh I'll Try!" He Says With A Smile. "Thanks." I Say Walking Into The Darkness Of The Basement.
I Got To "A Tight Squeeze." (HINT HINT) I Didn't Even Know What This "Monster" Looked Like. At Least...I Didn't. Now I Did. Because Even Though I Was In The Dark, The Lighter Gave Off Enough Light That I Could See Something. It Looked... Like A Monster Off Of A Video Game.... But Which One? Had It Seen Me? Surely It Must Have Because Its Facing Me. Staring At Me. Was I About To Die? I Had So Many Questions.
