this happens in the original book where marvel and Glimmer dies and this chapter is only written in Marvels pov.
Marvels pov
I threw my spear at Katniss but instead I hit rue, a twelve year old and Katniss's ally. Outraged Katniss shot me in my vocal cords with her bow, as I lay dying I couldn't help but smile. I get to see Glimmer again. Then, everything went black.
I woke up in a beautiful orchard, trees bearing fruit that I've never seen before surrounded me. I looked up ahead and saw a wonderful garden I looked behind me and caught a glimpse of a village, I finally came to my senses that I was in the afterlife. I looked at my clothes, I was no longer bloodstained instead I was wearing this:

It felt 100 times better than my arena clothes, so with that I get going to the village then I saw a familiar face. 'R-rue?!' I said stunned 'Oh hey marvel!' the little girl replied with her classic smile.
'Come on the others are waiting!' she yells, we start walking through the garden to get to the village. 'Your not mad at me?' I say breaking the silence 'No, why?' Rue said 'Because...well...I y'know' I say stuttering, she looks at me and says 'Well we were in the hunger games after all, I knew you were aiming for Katniss it was an accident, so I forgive you' rue said sweetly 'Oh bless your heart child' I say almost crying.
Once we reached the village I recognize some of the people there, Marina from d4, Noah from d3, and Clara from d8. They all greeted me with welcome arms but something or someone felt missing. Glimmer!
I decided to talk to Marina who was giving Clara lovey dovey eyes, Marina told me that Glimmer stayed in the biggest tree in the garden. I was shocked to hear that she can climb a tree but when I arrived I saw a ladder, great.
When I finally reached the top there she was with her golden locks flowing with the wind, 'hey gllimmie' I said she turned around to see me locking our eyes for a moment, before she ran up to me and hugged me as tight as she could.
'Marvel your here!'
'I mean it's pretty obvious-'
'Sorry I'm still in a state of shock' Glimmer replies giggling
An hour later
'The view up here is amazing' I say
'I know, the all of us made ladders so we can go here whenever we want'
'Sounds amazing'
'Hey marvel?'
'Yes?'
'If people are in love when they are alive we call it "Real love" but what if we're dead, like us?'
'I guess you could call it...Afterlife love?'
we both laughed and as I leaned into a kiss we heard a camera click followed by whispers saying 'Damnit Clara they were going to kiss' which was clearly Noah's voice, then a sorry coming Clara
'We know your there' Glimmer says holding back her laughter
'O-oh we totally weren't stalking you just...' Noah said
'Walking around!' Marina fills the sentence
'Yeah!' Clara said while sweating
'Yeah right' I said flipping my imaginary hair
We all hung out and probably laughed the whole night, I guess being dead isn't as bad as I thought as long as I'm with my Afterlife Love
