Next morning

Avneet's pov

So It was first day of my office. I got ready in 1 hour. Ofcourse first impression is really important. I was so so excited. Dad dropped me to the office. I wished good morning to the receptionist but she didn't replied back. How rude! Leave that. Don't spoil your mood Avneet. I went straight to Ms. Gulfam's cabin to ask for work and then went to my cabin for work. After sometime, a peon came and said that Mr. Nigam had called me. 

I got nervous but tried to calm down. I  knocked his cabin door and went inside. He was focused looking at a file and I couldn't see his face. Then he placed the file down on the table and said. I don't know what he said because I was shocked to death. My breath was gone. I couldn't feel the world. I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming but no he was real. He was the same guy who irritated the hell out of me last night. Oh no!  I wish the earth exploded and I get absorbed in it. I was taken back to earth by a voice. "Miss Kaur" he said still looking in the file. I gulped and said yes sir in shaky and almost inaudible voice.

Siddharth's pov

I was frustrated last night so I didn't went back to the apartment and rather stayed at the office room itself. Ya I have a room inside my cabin. I worked till 2 and then got up and got ready. I  started checking deal papers when I remembered about yesterday's interview. I asked Peon to get the papers about yesterday's interview and call the new head architect. I had just opened the file and someone knocked the door.  It must be the new employee. I said her to come in. Yes the new architect is a lady. I placed the file on table and read her qualifications. She was really well qualified but she could surely get a better job opportunity in abroad. I asked her," Miss Kaur you are overly qualified for this job then why do want to do this job?" still looking in the file. I said again Miss Kaur. And I heard a faint voice. 

I was shook. Was it her? I looked at her and furrowed my eyebrows and shouted, "YOU". "Wait you are the new architect!" I said and stood from the chair. I went toward her. I saw her, she had squeezed her eyes as she was afraid. I stood in front of her face and said sternly" You are fired." "You cant do that" she replied.  

"And what makes you think that" 

"I have already signed a contract for 3 months."

What no! I frustratedly looked around to find the find the file and swiftly shuffled the pages. I read the contract and rubbed my temple. I took deep breaths and calmed down. I told her calmly, " You can't work here." 

She raised her eyebrows and shouted," Listen I am also not dying to work with your company and I didn't knew that you are the head of Nigam Enterprises otherwise I would have never signed the contract even in my dream." 

This girl is testing my patience again.

 " YOU CAN'T WORK HERE AND THAT IS FINAL"

" I CAN'T BREAK THE CONTRACT JUST FOR YOUR WILL"

"I WILL NOT FILE ANY KIND OF CASE AGAINST YOU, YOU CAN LEAVE THE JOB."

" BUT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANY JOB FOR THREE MONTHS"

"SO WHAT! OH OKAY I WILL PAY YOU HALF OF YOUR SALARY JUST FREAKIN DON'T COME TO THIS OFFICE"

"WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOURSELF MR. NIGAM. ALL OTHER  PEOPLE ARE JUST GREEDY FOR MONEY THEN YOU ARE WRONG AS ALWAYS. THERE IS A THING CALLED EXPERIENCE. I GUESS YOU ARE NOT HEARING THIS WORD FOR THE FIRST TIME."

" WHY ARE YOU AFTER ME? JUST FREAKING LEAVE ME."

" ARE YOU DAMON SALVATORE THAT I'LL RUN BEHIND YOU."

"JUST SHUT UP"

Avneet's pov

"JUST SHUT UP"

He said and  turned around hit his hand on the table and it shook. The glass of water fell down but broke. He again turned around and I could see his eyes red with anger. Have I said too much? Now I was afraid I gulped down in fear. He was looking at me as if he is going to kill me. I started looking everywhere but not at him. And WTH. I saw that almost all the office people are standing outside the office. They were surely listening to our fight . I looked at him. He was coming towards me. I cleared my throat and eyed toward the glass. 

He looked in the direction and stormed towards the door. I went behind him. I could hear them whispering about me. Oh what an impression. What a first day. He shouted "SILENCE". I almost trembled. There was pin drop silence. "Go back to work" he ordered. Almost all the people left. A girl came and whispered All the best to me. What is going to happen now? I have to work with man for three months and I am seriously done already. AAH MOMA! 

Then I heard the receptionist jannat and Ms. Gulfam asking him if everything was alright. Yes everything is alright. Can't you see this monster nigam. He asked Jannat to bring some water and went inside the cabin. We followed him. 

He stood in front of the table facing us and leaned on it. We stood in front of him. He looked at me and then at Ms. Ahuliwalia and asked her, "How can you hire her?" She looked down and said, "Sir, she is qualified, confident and her ideas are also creative." "But what about professionalism, she doesn't know how to carry herself around. How can we say that she will not spoil our reputation in front of our clients?"  

What did he think that I didn't know how to talk to people He cant question my professionalism and passion like that. I was angry but I stood silent because I don't want more drama and popularity in office. Ms. Ahuliwalia said that she couldn't do anything about the contract and I would have to work there for atleast 3 months. He sighed hopelessly. He looked at me in professional way and said, " Miss Kaur, welcome to Nigam Enterprises. I hope you work hard and  let this office be a peaceful place. Ms. G. give her the project papers." 

Huh I was so tired now. He thought that I had came out from forest or something. Miss Gulfam went to the shelf to find file when jannat came with water. He drank the water and was giving her back the  empty glass  when she slipped slightly and the glass fell on his feet. He screamed. "Sir, Are you okay?" she asked while straightening herself.  He nodded still wincing.  Ms. G. turned with the file and said," Sir, Were you hurt before?" 

His face went pale. Then I remembered last night I had stomped my heel on his feet. Now I was trying hard to control my laughter. "Sir" Ms. G. said. 

"Yes I mean... No I am not hurt." he said  and cleared his throat. Now It was sure that it hurt him badly. I bit my cheek to control laughing. He ordered us to leave. I took the file from her. Jannat and Ms. Gulfam left. I deliberately clicked my heels on floor while leaving. I reached the door and turned around. I laughed looking at him and then ran towards my cabin.
