Siddharth's pov
I am so fucking stressed about this project. Once I get the order passed I'll show each of these greedy government bitches who they are dealing with? I tried to sleep last night and couldn't. I am an insomniac. I look like a zombie. Damn shit. Its not very professional. Calm down, Siddharth. I just change from one three piece suit to another. I'll just walk to the office. It's not like I have time to hit the gym anyways. I walk across the street, grab a cup of coffee when my phone rings. I pick up the call:
S:Hello!
Caller:Your meeting is fixed after 2 weeks.
S:Wait what goddamn 2 weeks. I can't wait for so long.
Caller:I am sorry sir. This is the most we can do.
I want to kill this official. I said that already. I walk towards my office entry where I see Miss kaur. I take a deep breath. Today will be a long day.

Third person pov
Avneet has some pastries and she is distributing them to anyone she can find. She asks if jannat wants some and she refuses making a nasty face and walks towards the corridor. Riyaz says that she might be on a diet and tries to lighten up the mood.
Siddharth notices all this but he doesn't like to engage in office politics so he just walks towards his cabin. Everyone wishes him a good morning and he replies with a nod. Avneet comes jumping up to him and offers him a pastry. He gets shocked. Everyone gets shocked.He was going to refuse when he remembers that he skipped dinner and breakfast and would rather have something and accepts it. He takes the pastry, nods and leaves.
Avneet smiles and returns to the table where everyone's jaw is on the floor. Saloni swears that Avneet has drugged Mr. Nigam. Avneet just rolls her eyes.

Avneet has completed all her work she can go now and sleep. She mentally dances at this thought. She was about to leave when she remembers the leftover pastries are in the office kitchen. She runs to grab it. Stupid avneet! Your cab is about to arrive.
She hits herself on head as she enters the kitchen. She finds none other than Mr. Nigam eating the pastries while reading emails on one phone and shouting on the other. He looks up at her, puts the pastry down and hangs up the call. It's almost like a jumble. He opens his mouth and closes it again. Avneet bites her cheek to hide her smile. He clears his throat. She decides to use this moment to her benefit.
She asks if she could get an early leave the day after tomorrow. He is just able to say yeah. She yells a thank you and runs to the door. He sighs into his hands.
Just then avneet comes backs running and grabs her phone from the counter.
Siddharth removes his hands and straightens up. Avneet looks at him laughs and leaves again. Siddharth scrunches his eyebrows in confusion.
He shakes it off and picks up his phone when he sees his reflection with frosting on his nose. Fuck, he swears loudly. He has never felt this embarrassed in last 5 years 10 years. He couldn't remember. He cleans up and gets back to work.
