One week later

Avneet's pov

Its been one week that I have been working in Nigam Enterprises. Everyone is happy and satisfied with me except Monster Nigam obviously. He doesn't leave any chance to scold me even if I have nothing to do with the matter. This guy surely has anger issues. He has fired three employees in 1 weeks. Everyone is afraid of him but not me. I reply him back every time and  he gets pissed off because of that. I like irritating the hell out of him. 

All my colleagues think that I am a superhuman that I can stand Monster Nigam. Well yes I am. I have made some friends also. Saloni, Amey and Riyaz. Riyaz is unfortunately a cousin of Reem. Why unfortunately? Because reem told everything about the inaugaration night to Riyaz and he told everything to Saloni and Saloni told everything to  Amey and Amey to Jannat and then to the whole office. Now the whole office knew that the owner of Nigam Enterprises the one and only Siddharth Nigam the great was putting shoes in racks. lmao. Finally he came to know that everybody knows about that party and then

Flashback

I was working on my laptop when Mr. Nigam banged the door and stormed in my cabin. I got up all of the sudden and shouted," WHAT THE HELL! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK THE DOOR"

He ignored my question and asked," WHY DID YOU TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THAT PARTY?"

"I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE"

"DON'T LIE MISS KAUR. NO ONE KNEW IT EXCEPT FOR YOU. IF YOU DIDN'T TELL THEN WHO ELSE DID?"

"MY FRIEND REEM DID" I said not looking at him.

" HOW CAN YOUR FRIEND DO THIS. IS SHE CRAZY? OH WELL OF COURSE SHE IS YOUR FRIEND SHE WILL ALSO ACT JUST LIKE YOU ."

" MR. NIGAM DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT REEM AND ALL FRIENDS ARE  JUST LIKE THIS?"

"WHAT? STUPID"

"NO! ALL FRIENDS SHARE STUFF WITH EACH OTHER"

"SO SHE IS FRIENDS WITH MY WHOLE OFFICE."

"NO! SHE TOLD HER COUSIN RIYAZ AND RIYAZ TOLD SALONI AND SALONI TOLD AMEY AND EVENTUALLY EVERYBODY CAME TO KNOW. EVERYBODY HAS A FRIEND WHO IS FRIEND'S WITH SOMEBODY ELSE"

" STOP YOUR BULLSHIT!"

"WELL SO NOW ITS CLEAR." I said and sat on my seat.

" NO IT ISN'T. ASK YOUR FRIEND TO APOLOGIZE TO ME."

" AND WHY WILL SHE APOLOGIZE MON..... MISTER NIGAM?"

" BECAUSE SHE HAS RUINED MY REPUTATION IN FRONT OF MY WHOLE DAMN OFFICE."

I got up again and said," CARE TO EXPLAIN MR. NIGAM?"

" EVERY PERSON IN THE OFFICE KNOWS THAT I PUT SHOES IN THE RACKS. ISN'T THAT AGAINST MY REPUTATION?"

"Can you sit Mr. Nigam.............please?" He sighed and and sat in front chair. I said," Can you not say anything and listen to me once?" He nodded and looked away. 

"Listen Mr. Nigam I know at first it's funny that your boss had put shoes in racks. But eventually everyone realizes that you did it without any shame and you consider every job as equal and respect everyone's profession whether of a peon or a gardener. So its not at all shameful that everybody knows about it. "  

He thought for sometime and then tried to say something, " I um.......". 

" I wanted to say that um..............................."

"Yes say it" 

" I mean you are understanding right"

" No, What do you want to say?"

" What you said.......................................  I mean."

"You mean  to say that  I am right as always. Right?" I said flipping my hair.

" Yes.............No.......................yes." 

He cleared his throat and stood up in a swift motion. "OK now get back to work" he ordered.

 How mean! Can't even say that I was right. Egoistic monster. He went out. I went behind him to close the door and said, " But it's still shameful to get a heel stomped in your feet." As soon as I said it he turned and I closed the cabin door and started laughing.

Later that day, I got a call from our client Ms. Sushmita. We were working on her bunglow's design. She told me that she wanted a kitchen garden instead of a normal garden and that we don't need to buy plants. She 'll grow herbs and vegetables. 

I cut the call and went toward the conference room where Mr. Nigam was talking to the plant nursery's owner. I knocked the door and and went in. He was sitting on main seat and three people and owner were sitting on the side chairs and looking at him.
I said, "Excuse me, Mr. Nigam."

"Can't you see I am doing something important, Miss Kaur!" He said rudely.

"I just wanted to say sir."

"Shut up miss kaur! I don't want to listen anything when I am working. Let me complete the meeting first" He said.

Ok if he wants it I will stay silent. I sat in other chair in silence. He explained the  whole design of the garden and how many plants will the company buy and how much will it cost? He took whole 25 minutes to explain everything. Then everyone started collecting their items.

Now he asked me," So what do you want to say miss kaur?"
"Mr. Nigam, I just got a call from sushmita mam that she doesn't wants garden rather she will grow her own kitchen garden." I said plainly as if nothing happened.

"WHAATTTT" He said furrowing his brows. "COULDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE. I WASTED 26 MINUTES  FOR THIS MEETING ALONG WITH MY EMPLOYEES." All the employees started looking at us.
I stood up and said," You told me to shut up and I did so." And shrugged my shoulders. All employees were controlling their laughter.
Now he was frustrated again. He took a deep breath and shouted,"GET OUT ALL OF YOU RIGHT NOW?" I shivered a little then gulped down in fear. So now the beast mode is on. I took my mobile
and ran outside. All the employees were laughing and praising my courage.
