The Boss

Chapter 6

Danielle wakes up and feels so hungover. She is woken by a knock at the door. "Who the hell could this be?" She looks at her phone and sees that it is 11am. She walked to the front door and opened it to find Stefania stood at her doorstep holding a bunch of roses. "Stefania?" Danielle said. Stefania smiled and said "You didn't tell me you wanted to leave so I've come here to take you on a date. A picnic date." There are a few moments of awkward silence, Danielle looks at Stefania with such a confused look. Stefania smiles at her and says "so... would you like to go on a picnic date with me?" Danielle smiled "erm.... Yes. But I need to get ready first but you can come in and make yourself at home if you like?" Stefania smiled "sure, thank you!"
Once Danielle got ready they got into Stefania's car and Stefania drove them too Rio de Los Angeles State Park. They arrived and start walking to a perfect spot to sit with a nice view. Stefania places the blanket on the grass, they both sat on top of it. Stefania starts taking things out of the basket "I didn't know what you'd like so I packed a lot." Danielle laughed "That's cute, thank you!"
They both sat in silence for a few minutes then Stefania looks at Danielle. "You scare me Danielle. I've never been with a women before and that's scary because I have all these feelings I've never had towards women, when I look at you. I like you Danielle a lot and I know I'm your boss and it probably shouldn't happen but I feel strong feelings towards you and I don't want to throw that away."
Stefania looks up and sees a look of disbelief spread across Danielles face. After a few moments Danielle had still said nothing. "Bella are you okay?" Stefania says. "My names not Bella? You can't say all that and then call me another girls name! Stefania laughs "It's not funny Harriet." Danielle said. Stefania laughs even more "Bella means beautiful in Italian, but Harriet I like that name." Danielles face goes red "oh that's embarrassing, sorry." Stefania takes Danielles hand and interlocks their fingers. "Stefania?" Danielle says, Stefania looks at her "Yes Bella." Danielle took a deep breath and said "One I do not look beautiful I'm hungover. Two what you said was beautiful. Three are you sure you haven't been with women because last night in the stall WOW! You could have fooled me. Four I don't want to throw this away either. Five I like you too."
They continued their picnic and then decided to go for a nice walk to have a look at the scenery. They came to a river with stepping stones. Stefania became a little scared of stepping on them as they looked slippy so Danielle went first and held her hand out for Stefania once she got to the other side. "You can do it, I've got you!" Danielle said to Stefania. Stefania took Danielles hand and walked on the stones. The last one is abit far from the edge Stefania thought so she decided to do a little jump which causes them both to stumble. Stefania stumbled into Danielle once they came apart Stefania took Danielles face in her hands and kissed her hard and passionately "Wow" Danielle said and went in for another kiss. Stefania took Danielles hand and they continued their walk.
They arrived back to the car an hour later. Stefania then drove Danielle home, they both got out of the car. Stefania walked Danielle to her front door and waited as she unlocked the door. "Now you're home safely, I'll say my goodbyes, goodbye Bambina." Stefania gave Danielle a kiss on each cheek and one on the tip of her nose. Stefania went to pull away but Danielle pulled her back close. They put their foreheads together with their eyes closed.
"I feel like this is too good too be true" Danielle said. "I agree" Stefania replied. "Do you want to come inside and have some coffee, it won't be amazing Italian coffee but I can offer you some American coffee. Unless you need to leave then that's okay too." Stefania chuckled "That was a long speech about coffee. I'd love to come inside and have some American coffee with you bambina." Danielle smiled and opened the door for Stefania to enter, she entered after her.
Danielle started up the coffee machine and asked what type of coffee she'd like "just a black coffee please" Danielle makes her one and herself then they went into the other room and sat down at the table. "You do jigsaws?" Stefania said. "Yes! Oh my god! I love them. Do you?" Stefania looked at it "no, but I think I would do one for you. Especially if we make it fun." Stefania winks. "You're cheeky! I like it."
Once they finished their coffee they headed into the living room and sat down on the sofa and started to watch a movie. They decided since it was Halloween they would watch a horror movie "I don't actually like these, I might get scared." Stefania admitted. Danielle looked at Stefania "it's ok, I'll hold you. Nothing will happen to you bambino." Stefania laughed and replied with "bambinA" making sure to express the A. Danielle laughed "ohhhh that's embarrassing."
During the movie they got closer and closer until they were cuddling very tightly on the sofa. Tightly due to the grip Stefania had on Danielle because she was scared of what was happening and kept hiding in Danielles armpit.
"You're cute when you're scared." Danielle laughed. "Shut up you!" Stefania said. Danielle continued to laugh "Oh my god I'm so sad I can't tell people about this at work! This is funny. Mrs serious is scared of horror movies." Stefania sat up and pulled a sad pouting face "You're mean." Danielle continued to laugh "come here you." Stefania came closer and hugged her tightly and they lay like this for the rest of the movie.
"Even though I am super cosy right now I must head of. I need to get home to Jeff." Danielle got a sick wave in her stomach "who is Jeff?" Stefania laughed "Jeff is my dog bambina, I need to go walk him and feed him. I'll see you at work tomorrow?" Danielle nodded her head to say yes.
They both got up and Danielle walked her to the front door where Danielle gave Stefania a kiss. They then stood there with their foreheads touching "Thank you for today! I loved it." Danielle said. "Me too bambina, but I must go." She gave Danielle a kiss on each cheek and one on the tip of her nose. Then Stefania left. Danielle slumped back on the sofa head over heels for the women she just spent the day with.
