Chapter 16

Boruto POV:
Sakura was horrified by what she saw. Sasuke was upset. I tied up Sumire on a chair. I didn't want to, but I slapped Sumire on the face pretty hard. She woke up. "Where is Sarada Uchiha?" She grinned. "Not telling." She said mockingly. I drew a kunai. She didn't looked fazed but I saw a hint of fear. I dug my kunai into her  upper leg. She yelped in pain. I dragged it until she screamed. "Ok, ok I'll tell you she's in the abandoned factory just outside the village." I knocked her out. I informed Sasuke and he told Kakashi. We set of immediately. When we got there, there was a lot of rouge shinobi. All of a sudden, my head felt like it was on fire. I heard a voice. "Your eye is more powerful than you care to think." I felt someone touch my eye. It felt different. Obviously, I didn't have an actual eye just the joegan. It felt like a comfort. We went up to a small group of them. I used my katana and struck down three of them while Sasuke and Kakashi knocked out the rest. We walked in. A tall man with a stature that could belittle the 4th Raikage. He had an evil grin on his despicable face. "I've been expecting you Boruto Uzumaki. He had a high-ish voice but he sounded like a maniac. "You've come to save the little Uchiha." I didn't want to speak, I just unsheathed my katana. I readied myself. Kakashi was first to attack. To my surprise he was flung backwards. We all charged at once. He had a bit of a struggle but he managed to take down all of us. I activated my joegan and Sasuke activated his eternal monkekyou sharingan. We all charged again. I moved back. "Rasengan!" I charged at him and he firmed the hit with ease. He laughed at our petty attempts. He turned his back to us and grabbed what looked like a whole person. It was Sarada. She was unconscious but looked like she had been through hell. Sasuke looked mortified. "I'm going to kill you!" Sasuke screamed. He laughed his evil cackle. I felt a rage I've never felt before. It felt like a while bonfire had been lit. I felt a feeling creep up my arm. Oh no the curse mark. I felt like I had to control it. I heard a voice in my head, clearly Momoshiki. I told him back in my head "your not strong enough anymore. I'm not a child. You think you have me, but in reality it is all your downfall." Momoshiki didn't reply he let out a small laugh. "That's right, not anymore. Boruto you've been through hell. Let me do the rest." Momoshiki said. "No if we are going to fight him I want full control." Momoshiki was taken aback. "Momoshiki, it's not all about destruction. That's what you have grown up with. Helping people is much more satisfying. After all you concealed your power in to me." He immediately responded. "How do you know it's better?" I smirked. "I used to be a gullible kid who used to hurt people through his actions. Now you can see I'm trying to help people. It is much better. I am your proof." He took 10 seconds to respond. "Fine,have it your way." He didn't sound angry or annoyed. The curse mark then turned a dark shade of blue. I felt like I had more power than when I had the black curse mark. I woke back up from my inner conscious. Sasuke and Kakashi could see the curse mark. I unsheathed my katana once again. I rushed at him so quickly he couldn't react. At this point Sarada was finally awake. She was watching. I struck his rib and then his face and then his left leg. I carried on my barrage with my speed quicker than a man could see. I jumped back to Sasuke and Kakashi. He fell to his knees. "Who are you?" The tall man asked. "Nobody." I made hand seals. "Chidori." I rushed to him and penetrated his chest. He fell lifelessly to the ground.
