She ran a hand through his curly hair. Smiling as he let out a sigh. "Can we watch a movie or something?" He said, snuggling closer to her. "Sure."
She gulped as he got up. She knew what he was going to put on. A horror movie. 'Cause that's what Kirk liked.
"Alright! Let me pop some popcorn and we are ready to roll!" He spoke exited and skipped to the kitchen. May sat up and watched as her boyfriend made everything ready.
"What movie did you chose Kirk?" Her eyes followed his movements as he sat everything down and sat down beside her. "Halloween!" He wrapped her in his arms and kissed her head.
The movie started and May tensed up. She didn't dare to watch the screen at all.
"Don't worry darling, I'll protect you." Kirks sweet voice made her relax a little. "Okay? Just focus on my warmth."
Soon she was off to sleep, really surprising to Kirk, but when he heard her mumble he understood that she felt safe.
"Kirk, you're my safe place."
He blushed and wrapped a blanket around her. Kissed her forehead before going back to watching the movie.
