"Sir, aren't you going to eat that?" Ali asks, pointing to the package of soboro bread next to Sang-Woo.

Sang-Woo had been staring off somewhere, but once Ali spoke, he looked away from the distance, handing Ali the package.

"You can have it." Sang-Woo responds "I don't usually eat breakfast."

Ali smiles, taking the package gratefully. "Thank you, sir."

"The smart ones never eat much, you know." Gi-Hun pipes up, causing me to chuckle.

I sat next to Sang-Woo, watching Sae glare at me. I return the look and attempt to open the package, only to fail by slicing my finger open with the plastic.

"Fuck-" I yell, shoving the tip of my finger into my mouth, sucking on the blood.

"What are you doing?" Sang-Woo looks at me as though I was a kid.

"I cut myself trying to open the soboro bread-" I start explaining before Sang-Woo grabs my hand, pulling my finger out of my mouth.

"Sucking on your finger isn't going to help. It'll just cause more blood loss." He inspected my finger closely, wiping the blood away multiple times before speaking again "It's like a bad papercut. If we can find something to wrap it with, you'll be fine."

I look at Sang-Woo like he was crazy "I don't need you to look after me. You're not your father." I pull my hand away from him and cross my arms.

"Clearly you're father didn't raise your right." As Sang-Woo said this, I could feel my blood boiling.

No, my father didn't raise me right. Unless you consider raping your children, abusing them, and using them as toys in which you can control, as raising people right, then I can guarantee I wasn't.

That's what I wanted to say back to him, instead, I slapped him, standing up quickly and storming away.

I walk away quickly, almost tripping as I pass people.

He doesn't know what is going on. He shouldn't have involved himself in my personal matters.

My eyes flashed red for a moment before I realize I was falling.

"Be more careful, please? " I heard Sae's voice.

Am I dead?

I still couldn't see anything. I was too upset to function.

"Don't touch me!" I try to push whoever was holding me away, but the grip just got tighter.

"Sun-Hi? It's me. You're okay." She spoke again.

"My head hurts... So much." I wrap my arms around her, trying to pull her closer to me. She only embraced me more and placed a singular kiss on the top of my head.

"What's wrong?" Her voice was sincere and calming.

"It's nothing. Just Sang-Woo was talking about my father. And-"

I didn't finish speaking when Sae interrupted me. "Who is this Sang-Woo asshole? He has no right to talk about that asshole who just so happens to be your dad! What exactly did he say? I want to know so I can feed him his words."

I blink a couple of times, looking up at Sae as she raged.

"He said that my father must not have raised me right." I picked at my sleeve, looking away from her.

"That asshole! I'm going to-"

"It's fine. There's no point in starting a fight with him. He doesn't know about anything with my father."
