Forgiven But Never Forgotten

In case you forgot where we left off, Alex made this big proposal type of gesture to ask Jo to take him back. She slapped him (out of love of course) and they kissed. After they kissed they hugged. That's where we are now :))

*they're still hugging*

Alex : "I love you."

Jo : "I love you too." 

Jo pulled away and went to take Luna out of the pack and play. 

Alex watched her.

Jo picked Luna up and walked back towards Alex. 

Jo : "The couch is kind of a mess right now with all the throw pillows but I can help you move them after I put her down..." she pointed to a closet, "There should be like three or four blankets in there plus a few pillows for you too. The couch is surprisingly comfy." she turned around and started walking to Luna's room.

Alex looked confused but walked over to the couch. He started moving the throw pillows over to the smaller couch. 

Jo stopped and turned around.

Jo : "What are you doing?"

Alex looked up, confused. 

Alex : "Moving the pillows so I can lay here, like you said."

Jo laughed. 

Jo : "I was kidding. Our room  is back here."

Alex smiled and followed her. 

Jo : "I'm just gonna go put her down but you can do whatever you want, our rooms right up the hall to the left."

Alex : "Okay, I'll start putting my stuff away in drawers." 

Jo smiled and walked into Luna's room, Alex walking towards theirs.

Jo sat down in the rocking chair and rocked Luna back to sleep. 

She fell asleep fast.

Jo gently stood up and laid Luna into her bassinet. She turned on the baby monitors and left the room, slowly and quietly shutting the door. 

She walked down the hall to her room and stood in the doorway, watching Alex unpack. 

She smiled.

Alex looked up,

Alex : "What?" he laughed.

Jo : "Nothing, I'm just glad you're back."

She walked into the room and wrapped her arms around him. He hugged her back and kissed her hair.

Alex : "New hair, huh?"

Jo rolled her eyes.

Jo : "Shut up!" she laughed.

He smiled.

Alex : "It's hot."

She started to laugh again. 

He started laughing too.

Alex : "I was gonna shower, is there one in your bathroom?"

Jo : "Our. But yeah, there is. I only have girly shampoo though."

Alex : "Do you care if I shower or do you think that'll wake the baby?"

Jo : "Hmmm.."

Alex looked at her.

She looked back.

Alex : "What?"

Jo : "Nothing, I was just thinking that I need to shower too."
