Chapter 5

Luz pov:
I woke up in the middle of the night. My eyes were still blurry but I could make out a shadow hunched up in the corner of my room. I rubbed my eyes and was met with the yellow glow of a werewolves eyes. "Amity." I saw sitting up "why are you up so late? We have school in the morning.". The witch looked away saying nothing as if something was bothering her.

"Amity? What's the matter?" I crawled over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She jolts her shoulder back "do you hate me Luz?". I go into immediate panic "nonononono! Why would you think that!". "Well." She looks me in the eyes her pupils turning into slits.

"Im a wolf thing. Doesn't that scare you?" She tilts her head "I mean this all came out of no where! I don't know what else could happen!". I don't know what she means...she's never tried to hurt me? "Amity you haven't tried to hurt me! I'm not scared of you!". "Lies." She stands up "you ran from me Luz. Is that not a sign of fear.".

I stand up with the witch. "I had no idea what you where amity. Of course I was scared! But when you tackled me all that went away!". I put my hand up to the witches face and I could see some of her fear go away. "And I know you would never hurt me. At least I hope so...but, you being a werewolf is honestly kind of cute.". I give her a bright smile which made the witch turn a bright red. "Psh. Whatever dork." She flicks me on the forehead and sits back down.
