Thousands of years ago, on a stormy night, have I gained my power.
The power of inter-dimensional traveling.
Hit by a flash of unusually powerful lightning, I felt the churning of this newly transferred source of Electro in my mortal body.
That day have I became an Archon.
"Oh no this turns out badly- ah!"
A black-haired female yelped as she dodged the splash of strangely colored liquid that had threatened to destroy her dress. She sighed in relief, seeing as there was zero damage done."Are you ok, Neriko?" An ash blonde male from the other side of the table full of weird-looking chemicals asked her concernedly.
Neriko! This female's name was Neriko!
She was a beautiful being, with her midnight locks that fade into a dark shade of purple, and ends with a golden hue by the tip.
"I'm all right, thanks for your concern Albedo." She replied to the other male with a genuine smile.
"Are you tired? If you are, we can go out for a small meal with the others outside?" The ash-blonde male asked with a slightly raised brow as he looked at her fixing form.
"Oh yes, if you are as well. I was for certain, felt a bit empty in the stomach." She giggled at her corny joke. But can it be considered a joke?
Albedo chuckled as he put away his bottles and vials neatly where they belonged to.
Her eyes lit up at the sight of the glass of grape juice, making the redhead behind the wooden counter chuckle in amusement.
On the contrary, the blue-haired male who was sitting beside her had a look of disapproval on his handsome facial features.
Yet, the way had those mysterious orbs shone had always been shutting him up before a trail of complaints could fly out of his mouth.
"Kaeya, drink your 'fermented grape juice' before it runs cold!" The bluehead heard her gentle voice. He also heard the sarcasm hints. A sigh escaped his lips, though his stomach was twisting and turning with an unknown feeling.
The other male laughed a bit, and immediately gained the black-haired female's attention.
"Oh Diluc! Please sit down with us as well, I have matters to discuss!"
His eyes softened upon her invitation. He took a seat on one of the stools he kept behind the counter.
Now all seated, they stared into her eyes. Those had the strangest of eye colors have they been able to find in all of Mondstadt. Purple, with deep black pupils, as if resembling a void, and golden strikes decorating the dark tones.
They have seen those 'voids' sparkle whenever she was pleased. The colors of black and purple seemed lonely anyway...
"Oh stop right there Klee!", the black-haired female shouted as she chased after a 'fleeing sun', "Before I trip and fall!"
The other girl just giggled and continued to run. So happy she didn't notice the swarm of Hilichurls ahead of her.
Surprised by their sudden appearance out of nowhere, and terrified for Klee's safety, Neriko steadied her posture and dashed forward, while drawing a bow and an arrow out of the air sheath.
Her jaws clenched as she aimed at the one Hilichurl that looked enhanced in its health, also the one who was approaching Klee. Her fingertips let go of the string, firing three arrows that lit up in little golden streaks of lightning that seemed to boost their speed.
In a blink of an eye, the arrows hit the Hilichurl, making it tumble backward while spasming. The other Hilichurls still had their attention fixed on Klee.
"Tch." Neriko clicked her tongue in annoyance as she sheathed the bow into nowhere. She then swung her right arm to the side and drew out an all-majestic golden trim polearm with its shaft made out of an ivory-like material, its blades were silver-made, but under the sunlight they shone a purple glint. The weapon was a gift from Lumine.
She fearlessly dashed into the crowd of Hilichurls with an insane speed. Smirking, she started to slay down one by one, effortlessly.
In the silence of the grassy meadow, she enjoyed her small triumph.
Oh, and about Klee, we all know what's bound to happen...
... And Neri-chan is always there to help the dangerously adventurous young girl out.
...
Silence.
She sighed as she was brought into one of her portals again after trying to use it in a battle against slimes. She was the Void Archon after all, but she wasn't so skilled in her ultimate attack.
Whenever she enters the portal, she'd be brought to another world, other than the seven regions of Teyvat.
"What could it be this time..." She whispered to herself as the light of day started to light up the other end of the deep black void, where she had been walking for who knows how long.
The rule of the portals is, once entered, there is no way out, until you've arrived at the other side. To come back to Mondstadt, it's just by random chance that her ult will be activated again at some point of time in the future.
Everybody knew this, so they always spend the best of their time with her before the void randomly pops out of nowhere and take her away.
"Agh-" She groaned while bringing a hand up to dodge the increasing tensity of daylight by the other entrance of the void. The moment has finally come.
A new journey starts.
