I smiled on the inside. Toshinori was just telling greenie that he can be a hero. " Young man, I deem you worthy of my power. My Quirk is yours to inherit." Toshinori holds his arms out. My mouth dropped. Okay, that... I wasn't expecting it. Even greenie looked at him confused.

"Wait! Toshinori -..." Toshinori held his hand out to stop me.

" What do you mean by inherited? Inherit what?" Greenie questioned.

Toshinori burst out laughing. " You should see your face right now. Don't worry I'm not going to force this thing on you." He said taking a few steps closer. " Listen well young man. This is your choice. Do you wanna accept my awesome power or not!" Toshinori asked blood spilling out his mouth again as he points a finger at greenie.

" You really gotta do something about that Toshi, it's kind of disgusting." I deadpanned him about the mouth-bleeding thing. " Yeah, yeah, yeah." Toshi brushed me off. I went back to being a bit hesitant. Is this kid before us really the right person to get his power?

"There are a couple of things you should know about my abilities." Toshi started to say. " Toshi are you being for real?" I argued. " Young Aya." I mention for me to be quiet. So I did.

"Journalists only guess my Quirk as super strength. When people ask in interviews I always make a joke and dodge the question. That's because the world needs to believe that the symbol of peace is just a natural-born hero like any of them. But I'm not. There's nothing natural about my ability." Toshi opens his arms. " I wasn't born with this power it's a secret torch that was passed on to me by someone else." Toshi started explaining.

" Someone gave you this Quirk? No way?" Greenie was in shock. "Yes, way. And you're next. I can give you my abilities." Toshi said. Greenie got up. " Wait! Hold on. This is a lot to process. It's true there's a lot of debate as to what your Quirk actually is. Nobody ever figures it out. It's one of the world's greatest mysteries. People are constantly talking about it online. but the idea of ----" Greenie started muttering things that I couldn't understand.

I tilted my head to the side. " Uh.... is he broken?" I questioned with questioning marks above my head. " Uh, sounds like you're overthinking this whole inherited thing?" Toshi said sweat dropping.

" Stop nerding out!" He yelled causing the boy to stop.

" You'll have to adjust your reality and accept this new truth. I can transfer my Quirk to someone else and that's one of many of my secret abilities." Toshi held out his hand and it started to glow an iridescent light. " The true name of my power is ' One For All.'

" One... For... All?" Greenie mutters.

I gulped. Is he really going to pick this kid to be the next successor?

"Yes. One person improves the power and hands it down to another person. And continues to grow as it's passed along. It is this cultivated power that allows me to save those who are in need of a hero. The truth behind my strength." Toshi clenches his hand.

" But why would you choose someone like me for a gift like that? What if I can't live up to it?" Greenie questioned having doubts already.

" The kids right, Toshi. Are you really thinking this through?" I asked. One For All isn't something he can just give to anybody.

" I was on a long hunt for a worthy successor. And then I watch you jump into action as the rest of us stood by. You may be a Quirckless fan-boy. But you tried to save that kid. You acted like a hero." Toshi stated as Greenie shed more tears. Okay, that might be a good reason but still. " Seriously you gotta stop crying so much if you want my power, c'mon kid." Toshi teased him.
