Remnants: Knight's Soul

The Emerald Forest

A calm, beautiful sky is seen. Beautiful clouds adorn it like a painting. A majestic raven flies through the sky, peering the sky around and the forest below. It continues to do this for a time........

.... Before being hit out of the sky by a high-speed Arthur.

Arthur:" SORRY!"

He apologized while continuing his free fall. As he got closer and closer to the tree line he activated his cane's dust capabilities. Knight's Caliber's barrel spun around before landing a cyan cylinder. He thrusts his cane in front of him while the cane part glows cyan before the energy extends and creates a shield. Arthur had used hard-light Dust to create a shield from his cane.

Arthur:" I! Really! Hope! This! Works!"

He holds his cane tightly as his Aura glows brightly around him. He reinforces his whole body to deal with the impact. He finally passes the tree line and slams straight into the ground with a large explosion that fills the area with smoke.

Arthur:" Well...."

Arthur gets up from the crater he made completely unscathed.

Arthur:" ....That...... could have gone better....."

He slams his cane into the ground, scanning the area around him.

Arthur:" A clearing? Abandoned  temple should.... be...."

He feels around more before finding where he needs to go. He points his cane in that direction.

Arthur:" Abandoned temple should be fhere!"

He starts running off into the direction with his cane in hand.

(Elsewhere)

Ruby is seen running around the forest frantically looking around.

Ruby's POV

'Gotta find Yang, gotta find Yang, gotta find Yang! Gotta find-'

Ruby:" Yang! Yaaaang!"

'Oh, this is bad, this is really bad... What if I can't find her? What if someone finds her first? Well, there's always Jaune. He's nice. He's funny! ...I don't think he's very good in a fight, though. Ooh! What about Blake?! So mysterious, so calm... Plus she likes books! Then again, I'm not sure I'd be able to hold a conversation with her... Ugh! What about Arthur? He's nice and definitely good in a fight. He's perfect! And if we become partners... partners... for the rest of our time at Beacon.... we'll probably share a dorm.... have all our class together... spend all our time together.... No! Stop Ruby! You basically just met him!'

I shake my head out of the clouds.

'Okay... Who else do I know in this school? There's Yang, Jaune, Blake, Arthur, aaaand...'

3rd Person POV

Ruby skids to a halt as she sees Weiss in front of her. They both stare at each other in an awkward, long pause. Weiss is first to break it by turning around and walking away. Ruby starts following Weiss....

Ruby:" Wait, where are you going?!"

Before kicking the ground dejectedly.

Ruby:" We're supposed to be teammates..."

With Weiss, she's seen struggling through the forest, pushing away branches while grunting with the occasional "ow", Once she's out into a a more open space she finally sighs in relief before hearing a voice from above.

Voice From Above:" Come on, come on! Stupid-!"

Weiss looks up to find.......... Jaune stuck in a tree. He's held up by the hood on the trunk by what looks like Pyrrha's spear. He looks down at Weiss and give her an embarrased wave. Weiss just turns back and goes back to Ruby. She gets pulled by the hood by a grumpy Weiss, Ruby is just overjoyed.
