The Goblet of Fire turned red; sparks showered out of it; the tongue of flame shot high into the air, and from its tip Dumbledore pulled the third piece of parchment.

"The Hogwarts champion," he called after a long suspense, "is Cedric Diggory!"

"I KNEW IT!" shouted Rolf over the loud noise from the Hufflepuffs as he jumped onto his best friend.

Juno cheered loudly for friend too with the rest of her house, this was good for them, Hufflepuffs were generally overlooked. The celebration lasted a minute before Rolf un-clung himself from Cedric and Dumbledore pushed him through to the next room.

"Well, we now have our three champions. I am sure I can count upon all of you, including the remaining students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, to give your champions every ounce of support you can muster. By cheering your champion on, you will contribute in a very real —"

He was cut off by the goblet burning red again as another piece of parchment flew through from it. Everyone was silent and shocked. Dumbledore caught the note and from it he read —

"Harry Potter!"

Everyone in the hall turned to Harry who was frozen in shock and—quite plainly—fear. Dumbledore called his name again and Harry was pushed up by Hermione—who Ron had introduced Juno to some time ago. People jeered at him as he timidly made his way through to the next room.

"Classic Potter!" snarled Zacharias.

"Always stealing our glory!" Susan whined.

Juno frowned and looked to Rolf who was clearly upset like everyone else.

"Famous Harry Potter!" groaned Justin, "Just wants another reason to have the attention on him, like his parents dying isn't enough —"

"Hey!" Juno scolded the muggle-born and smacked his arm, "You may be upset but don't take it out on the dead—no less his parents!"

"You don't understand, Juno!" Justin retorted, "He's always doing this! He has a need to play the hero—have the attention!"

Juno opened her mouth to argue back but was cut off by Ernie, "He's right, y'know. In first-year he broke a hundred school rules to 'save' the Philosophers stone and 'defeat Voldemort'. In second-year he was the acclaimed 'heir' of Slytherin and killed a basilisk to save Ginny Weasley. Last year Sirius Black was after him!"

"I'm pretty sure you can't help if a crazed murderer is after you," said Juno plainly.

Susan cut in, "Still, Juno. Justin and Ernie are right. This is normal behaviour from him, honestly, we shouldn't have gotten our hopes up this time."

"Maybe you just haven't heard his side of the story," snapped Juno before leaving the great hall with everyone else.
