"Hey, Harry!" Juno ran to catch up with the Gryffindor champion, "Harry!"

But he didn't stop, turn around, or even acknowledge Juno's presence. He'd been walking out by the lake, originally with Hermione, but was now on his own.

"Harry, can you just stop for a moment!"

He spun around and glared at her, "Why? Because you want to come and tell me how I cheated and shouldn't be in this godforsaken tournament! I've had enough of your friends telling me that thanks."

Juno looked at him shocked, "No," she said slowly and calmly, "I came to apologize for their behaviour—but if you don't want it, I'll leave."

Harry's face fell into a guilty expression and he rushed to apologize but Juno held up her hand, "Chill! It's fine, you're under a lot of pressure, I get it."

"Thanks..." he said as he directed his attention to the ground in front of them.

"Look, you already know everyone's pretty mad, but that's just because Hufflepuff never gets any recognition—they're seen as the weakest house. Now they've finally got something... I believe you; I know you didn't put your name in the fire."

Harry looked quizzically at the Hufflepuff, "How do you know that? We barely know each other."

Juno shrugged gently, "Dunno... guess I just... knew." A small puff of laughter came from Harry, Juno smiled shyly. "Y'know, Cedric doesn't blame you, he doesn't care you're a champion too—just means Hogwarts has twice the chance of winning, right?"

"Ha, yeah..." Harry looked at Juno then looked away quickly, "You—uh—you good friends with Cedric then?"

"Yeah, well, he's my brother's best friend, we all grew up together. When Rolf went to Cedric's, I'd go to Ron's."

Harry smiled, "Ron's very fond of you, y'know?"

Juno nodded, smiling, "I do."

"Though..." said Harry, "He's never mentioned you before this summer—actually, I hadn't even heard of you till this summer."

The girl laughed, "Head under a rock, Harry Potter?"

"Well, yeah," he laughed too, "I'd say. I didn't even know my 'involvement' in the wizarding world till Hagrid told me on my eleventh birthday."

Juno rolled her eyes and whispered under her breath, "Uncultured."

Harry turned to her, "What was that?"

"Nothing!"

"Yeah... right."
