ᴛʜᴏsᴇ ᴇᴍᴇʀᴀʟᴅ ᴇʏᴇs | ʜᴀʀʀʏ ᴘᴏᴛᴛᴇʀ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ

❣ Y3 | Ch 8 - Owlery |

Y/N woke up early in the morning. When she woke up she saw the clock and it was 5:00 AM. She was so surprised at how early she woke up.

"Huh, I woke up so early. I never thought that I could do that," She murmured to herself.

She then remembered that she needed to go to the Owlery to deliver her letter to her parents. She then got ready and wore a hoodie and a pair of jeans and wore some sneakers. She then took her letter and looked around.

She saw all the other girls asleep except Hermione who was wide awake and reading a book while sitting on her bed. She was still in her pajamas, her hair so messy, her eyebrows knitted together as she was concentrating so hard on reading her book. .

"'Mione, why are you reading this early in the morning?" Y/N asked her. Hermione then turned around and saw Y/N standing wearing a hoodie and a pair of jeans.

"I just thought I would study now to save time," Hermione said. Y/N then rolled her eyes and smiled. "And what are you doing? All dressed up and all" Hermione asked.

"Oh i just thought i will deliver my letter to my parents" Y/N replied with a smile.

"Oh, do you need help? I can come with you. You may get lost," Hermione said. Y/N had not thought that she would get lost at all.

"Oh it is okay I can manage"

"Okay alright then" Hermione said and went back to studying. Y/N then smiled to herself nervously and went to the common room with her letter in her hand.

Y/N then went to the common room and sat on a couch near the fireplace and was regretting the choice of finding the Owlery alone. She did not know how she would send the letter to her parents.

"It would be cool if I had an owl," Y/N muttered to herself. That is when she heard footsteps from her right. She turned around and saw Harry walking towards her. He was wearing a sweatshirt and pants. Y/N smiled and got an idea.

"Hello Harry! What are you doing so early?" Y/N asked as Harry took a seat next to her and smiled back.

"Hey Y/N, oh that's nothing. I-I just wasn't able to sleep properly." Harry said nervously. He did not want Y/N to know about his nightmares. So he changed the subject.

"What are you doing? And what is that in your hand?"

"It is just a letter I wanted to deliver to my parents. And I am not sure where in the world the Owlery is! So..." Y/N said hoping that Harry would help her.

"Alright, I can show you where it is." Harry said with his goofy grin. Y/N giggled and they went outside to go to the Owlery.

Y/N looked around in awe. It was so cold out there. Lucky that Y/N had worn her hoodie. Everything was covered in fog. And Y/N could see the sun slowly rising.

"You can use my owl to deliver your letter" Harry said as they were walking.

"You have an owl?" Y/N asked surprised. Her eyes wide.

"Er.... Yeah I do"

"I wish I had an owl too." Y/N said sadly.

"Erm..." Harry said awkwardly. Y/N then quickly changed the subject to how beautiful the castle was. Harry was glad that Y/N changed the subject. After a while they reached a hut that looked so dirty and plant covered in some of the places. They both entered the dirty looking hut.

"Merlin's beard Harry! There are a lot of owls here!" Y/N said as she was looking around all the owls that were in a cage. There were a thousand of them. Harry just smiled and went to get his snowy owl. Hedwig.

"C'mere Hedwig. You've got a letter to deliver." Y/N heard Harry talk. She then saw Harry carrying an owl to her. The owl was very beautiful. It was a snowy owl. It had bright blue eyes that were so huge.

"Oh Harry! Is that your owl? It is so adorable!" Y/N said, now taking the owl from Harry's fingers. Their hands slightly brush together. Y/N felt her cheeks go hot so she quickly moved her hand to the owl and looked at it in awe.

Soon, both of them were red as the Weasley's  hair. Harry and Y/N did not talk anything about it. 

Sorry! I had to end it there! And i will try my best to update once a day.
