❣ Y3 | Ch 10 - Clouds |

❣ Y/n's POV ❣

After the two Hippogriffs bowed down, Harry and I moved closer to it and touched its neck. Its feathers felt so soft. The Hippogriff just looked at me with its brilliant orange eyes and tilted its head. I smiled at it in awe. Harry and I smiled and looked at Hagrid. He grinned at us and started clapping. Soon, all of the students started clapping too.

I looked at Harry. He was smiling at the Hippogriff as he stroked its feathers. He looked cute when he smiled-wait! What the freaking hell am I talking about-?

"Ok, so do yeh wanna ride it?" Hagrid asked. I was shocked. I looked at Harry and he had the same expression as me. We both whipped our heads to look at Hagrid in shock.

"What?" We both asked in unison. I was shocked at first but then I was excited to ride the Hippogriff.

"Ooh! Ok!" I said excitement clear in my eyes. Harry then looked at me with a confused look.

"Ok then!" Hagrid said happily and lifted Harry from the ground with his hand. Harry gasped from the sudden movement.

"Hey! Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey!" Harry cried out from Hagrid's grip. Hagrid only chuckled and placed Harry on Buckbeak. He then came to me and placed me on Fleetswing. I grinned at Harry who gave me a nervous smile.

❣ Harry's POV ❣

Y/n did not look scared or nervous at all. She was so excited to ride the Hippogriff. I was totally nervous. I was not even sure where the heck I should hold Buckbeek. Everything was covered with feathers. I am mostly used to a broomstick but I'm not sure if a hippogriff would be the same.

I looked at Y/n. She was holding the neck of her Hippogriff.

"Go on, then!" roared Hagrid and hit Y/n's and my Hippogriffs hindquarters.

With no warning, I quickly seized Buckbeaks neck. And then twelve-foot wings flapped open on either side of me. Before I knew Buckbeak and Fleetswing were soaring upwards. Soon, we were very high up. I looked at Y/n beside me, she was smiling widely. I couldn't help but smile.

I looked forward and saw the castle. It was beautiful. I could feel that we were slowly going downwards. The same thing was happening with Y/n's Hippogriff. We were going down to the sea.

We went to the surface of the water and the feet of the Hippogriffs was touching the water. I smiled and looked at Y/n. She was stretching her hand and laughing. My eyes widened. What if she fell in the water?

"Y/n! What are you doing?" I asked her, worried. She looked at me and said,

"Oh, come on Harry! Just enjoy this moment!" She groaned. "Don't be a scaredy-cat!" She said. I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks in embarrassment. Did she know that I was scared? Oh my God! This is fucking embarrassing.

I sighed," Fine... " I muttered. She grinned at me. I then slowly stretched my hands. To my surprise, it was really good! I could feel all the stress in me go away. The air was hitting my face. I felt like I had no care in the world. The feeling was wonderful!

"Woooohoooo!" I shouted, feeling so happy.

"Woooo!" Y/n shouted and then giggled. 'Damn, She's cute' I thought. I knew I was thinking about her but I didn't care about that. I just grinned at her trying not to show my emotions through my face.

We then started to fly upward again. I heard Y/n make a 'hmph!' sound. I looked at her now worried. She just nodded and smiled at me.

I then looked around and saw that we were so high up that we could see the clouds. I didn't dare look down but I did. The Hogwarts castle looks so beautiful in this view. The Black Lake, The big Squid, Hogwarts, Hagrid's Hut, The Forbidden Forest everything looked so beautiful from the top. It was a breathtaking view.

Soon, we both were back on the grounds where all the students and Hagrid was waiting for us. Hagrid smiled at us broadly as we made our way down from the Hippogriffs.

" Great Job, Harry and Y/n! " Hagrid roared, clapping. After a few seconds, everyone except Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle cheered and clapped. "Now, who else wants ter go?" Hagrid asked.

"This is very easy," Malfoy drawled loudly, "I bet you're not dangerous at all, are you?" He said as he started walking very fast towards the two Hippogriffs,

"Malfoy, don't..." Hagrid warned but Malfoy kept talking "you ugly great brute! " That's it. The Hippogriffs are gonna kill him.

It all happened in a quick flash. Malfoy was laying on the ground clutching his arm. The two Hippogiffs hit Malfoy very hard that made him fall. Hagrid looked shocked. He was white as a sheet.

"I'm dying! I'm dying!" Malfoy cried out, " It's Killed meh! It's killed meh!" He sounded a bit sarcastic.'This fuck-?' I thought. I saw Y/n and Ron trying to hide their laughter.

Hermione dashed forward and said, "He needs to be taken to the Hospital Wing! Quickly! " Hagrid nodded and carried him in his arms and went to the castle.

Everybody then walked back to the castle. The Slytherins were all shouting about Hagrid. 

"They should sack right away!" I heard Parkinson shout. She was almost in tears... never mind...she is in tears right now. This made me angry. Why should they sack Hagrid? I tried to stay calm but I couldn't.

I think Y/n noticed my expression because she put her hand on my shoulder which calmed me down in a second. Her hand was very warm, I loved the feeling. I heard Ron smirk at us. Did he really see us? Oh god, I think I have some questions to answer to Ron.

 I felt my cheeks go pink. Y/n quickly took her hand off my shoulder. I looked at Y/n, She was bright pink and looking down. I smiled to myself.

Ron nudged my arm and smiled wildly at me. 

"Shut Up Ron..." I said as I rolled my eyes at him

"It was Malfoy's fault!" Dean snapped at Parkinson. Parkinson completely ignored this and said,

"I'm going to see if he is OK," She said end went running to the castle. She was literally faster than light.
