My loud alarm goes off, instantly waking me up from my slumber.
I hate mornings.
Why do I despise mornings you ask? I despise mornings because when I wake up, I always listen to tons of people's thoughts and it drives me crazy. However, I've kinda got used to it over time.
I get up from my bed and walk into the bathroom. I brush my teeth, fix my hair, and put on a tiny bit of makeup—(if you don't wear makeup, then ignore that).
I walk back into my room and got into my uniform. After changing into my clothes, I walked into my kitchen and quickly fixed myself some breakfast.
"Mmm..." I hummed, now putting the bowl into the sink and washing it. I walk outside and pull out my phone, waiting for the bus.
2 minutes have passed. The bus should've been here by now?
I checked the time once more to make sure. My eyes dilated and a gasp escaped my lips when I noticed that my bus already stopped by 5 minutes ago.
Should I just teleport? What if someone notices me? Dammit.
I sighed, contemplating a few seconds more on what I should do. Use my power or not?
I can just teleport behind a tree.. yeah!
I run back into my house and teleport behind a fairly large tree that was near the university. Luckily, nobody was here to see me.
Phew.
If you couldn't already tell, I don't want anybody to know my powers. My mother has always told me to never let anybody know about my powers. I never asked why, I just went with it. People knowing about my powers could also cause me getting tons of attention, which I am trying to avoid at all costs.
I walked normally to school, watching a few kids run past me who probably think they're going to be late.
If I didn't have these abilities, I definitely would've been tardy.
