The family picnic was going extremely well, Hera smiled as she looked out at her family. All the pain and betrayal she had experienced in Rhemus was now a distant memory. She placed her hand on her round belly. Her baby could arrive anytime now. Athena, Phoebe, Seleny, Zoe and Ereny were all married. Zoe was expecting her first child with Apollo. Elodie and Agapy were still unmarried but were successful layette in Hardrock.
She felt Nehram's arms enclose her body from behind and she just leaned back into him. Two years and a son later and they were happier than ever. They loved been together on Earth and now they were expecting their second child. She could never be more contented. She smiled as their son Alec played with his cousin Damien jnr and some neighborhood children. She turned to face Nehram and he planted a soft kiss on her forehead. He did not need to say anything, everything he was feeling showed in his eyes.
He has never been back to Rhemus but his brother had come when their son was born. Life was great and it could not get any better than this.
