Izuku had lost his notebook. After looking for it for over an hour he decides to look in the common rooms.

Good news, he found it.

Bad news, the damage was already done.

Phycological bullying.

Izuku had been frantically searching for his analysis book for the last hour. He must've dropped it at some point because it wasn't in his room nor in his bag. Izuku paced his room, steadying his breaths as memories of middle school flooded his brain. The taunts, the jeers, the constant dismissal of his existence and the scars they left behind.

His analysis books were one of the only things he'd managed to keep in one piece, sans the one Kacchan had destroyed the day he had met All Might. Izuku sighed, slumping in his chair as he placed his hands over his eyes. After a solid minute of contemplating his existence, Izuku got up, deciding to search the common room for his work. If all else fails, he'd need to check the classroom.

As Izuku descended down the stairs, he heard the usually loud and rowdy common room filled with a deadly stillness. Izuku paused, activating his quirk, letting it hum underneath his skin as he approached the bottom of the stairs. Looking around the corner, he saw the group of classmates huddled around something. Deeming that no villain was there, Izuku deactivated his quirk.

"What's everyone looking at?" He questioned the group. He was met with absolute silence. His classmates looked offended, tears on their faces as they stared at Izuku with a wave of fierce anger. He frowned, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

" You should know why!" Uraraka yelled out, ripping something from Iida's hands. Izuku's eyes widened as he saw the pale blue of his notebook nestled in her outstretched hand. "You're working with villains, right?!"

"It's not like that!" Izuku retorted, his worried eyes locked onto his book. He couldn't let another one get destroyed.

"Oh?" Uraraka laughed, her arms coming down to her sides as her head tilted upwards. "So you're saying that writing down all our weaknesses in one convenient book means you're not working for villains? Hell, you've even written down how much I can use my quirk before I puke!"

Izuku was at a loss for words. Uraraka, his first friend in years had practically lost hope in him. Izuku knew that look in her eye; he'd had the same look when Kacchan had first hit him. That look of betrayal and utter disgust.

"Well," Uraraka prompted, "are you going to explain yourself?"

"I'm not a villain. I've wanted to be a hero all my life! For most of my life, I thought I was quirkless. Analysis was my back-door for if I didn't get into the hero course. I've been doing it since I was five."
