Chapter Three Mate

Trey's Prov

Humans that live in Silver Creek fear us werewolves so they would aways run to their homes before the sun begins to set. It's amusing to watch even when the time chances from fast to slow time or slow to fast. It messes whith their expirations. Not that I care any but for some odd reason I felt a pull.

Since nobody has ever seen us werewolves in human form they would just think oh their just people passing by. Haha wrong big time. Walking into a store where I felt the pull get stronger. A sweet scent caught my attention when I walked in. Only thing that came to mind was my mate is here. The one I'm destined to be with for life.

Following the sweet scent I found her heading toward the check out station. The closer I got to her the more the pull became stronger. The urge to make her mine and take her with me was over welming. "Congratulations man!" Jake said patting my back. "Looks like our beta found his mate." Rolling my eyes at Jake i continued to watch her as she waited for the clerk to finish ringing up her stuff.

"If you want I can give you a ride home." The clerk suggest to my mate. "I'll be okay." My mates angel like voice said. I followed her at a distance in my wolf form outside. She has to be around 5'4 and her pale skin, short dirty blonde hair and her attractive blue eyes. She's not to skinny and not to fat. She is perfect in every way.

She stopped and pulled out her ringing cell phone and answered it. I caught bits and pieces of the conversations, but not all of it because of Jake talking to me through the pack mind link. Jake is the third in command the delta. I'm the beta which is second in command. Jake and Liam whom is the alpha already have their mates.

"Trey I herd from Jake you found your mate." Liam said through the mind link. "Yeah I did but she is human." I said back. "You need help getting her Trey?" Liam asked. "Yeah just in case." I replied to him. "Alright I'll be there soon. Keep me posted though while I check to see if anyone is at her home." He said before he cut the link for now.

About thirty minutes later it's nearly pitch black and she just now is skittish. "Nobody is home the male isn't home." Liam said through the mind link. Rage filled me at the word male she is with another man! "Trey calm down it's just her father." Liam reassured me. Calming down I made some nose on accident causing her to she me in a blur.

Sensing her adrenaline kick in she took off like a fucking silver bullet. For a human she can cover some ground when she wants to. "You can't run away from me mate. Your mine and only mine!" I said as I connected the mate bond between us. I know she heard be because she began running faster. I appeared in front of her as she went to step on the drive way of her house.

"I told you that you can't run from me mate." I said to her. "We're not friends so leave me alone." She said. I couldnt control my amusement. She started backing away from me which ticked me off some. She decides to play against the odds and run from me again. "Fine want to play chase then we will!" I growled.

I herd her thoughts as she wad running dhe was chanting it's not going to catch me, its not going to catch me. Like come on the she's human I'm a werewolf she's not going to get to far.

She makes a hard right and scampers up a tree. She thought i didn't notice until I knocked her off balance and caught her in my jaws. She squirmed around and pointed a can of something at me and amied for my eyes. To say it hurt is a huge understand it hurt so bad words can't even describe it. Shifting into my human for I rubbed my eyes until they stopped hurting and I can see clearly. "Don't ever do that again." I said warningly to her.

After that I don't remember what happened all I know is that my mate is laying in my arms asleep. "I expected as much from my daughter." Liam said looking at my mate. Wait daughter what the hell. "What do you mean Liam?" I asked him wide eyed. "Before I took control of this pack I fell in love with a human girl. I felt horrible when I left her to run the pack and to leave Lynn." Liam said as her switched his gaze to me.

"All I ever had were pictures of Lynn every year on her birthday. Janet her mother was a good person but she married Valentine. Valentine was her mate and since Lynn was her flesh and blood her adopted her." Liam explained before heading back to the pack house.

"Is that her?" Blaze said as he appeared beside me. "Yes my mate." I said looking down at her sleeping form. "You hurt my sister I'll beat your ass!" Blaze growled menacingly at me. "Why would I hurt my mat Blaze?" I asked him. He roughly ripped her from my arms and caught up with Liam. Talk about rude and blood boiling in your vains, now I know what it feels like to dislike any male that comes near or touches your mate. Even when it's just a brother.

Up ahead Liam and Blaze were in a heated argument when Liam motioned for me to take my mate away from Blaze. In one swift movement I took her out of the hold of Blaze and back into mine.
