Y/n's pov
Shoto got mail. Which is nice because he got newer clothes. "But they're all a size too small.." I say as shoto stands there holding his arms out while I hold them up to him.

I figured maybe they'll fit once they're on. But no- "I no like" shoto mumbles. "Ok ok-" I say taking them back off. These were given to shoto by our dad's side of the family. They don't talk to us clearly since they got shoto's size wrong. "Don't worry I'll get you different clothes that will fit ok?" I say. "Ok" shoto says digging through more clothes.

I lean back into the couch. I'm going to have to sell those so I can even have a little money to buy him newer ones.

I groan getting up to fix shoto a snack so he won't be crabby when it's time for a nap. I walk past the fridge seeing the big red circle on a certain date. Shoto's birthday he's going to turn two years old in less than a week. I still need to buy a cake and candles.

I grab strawberries and prepare them. I set them on a plate once I finished cutting them. "Shoto I have strawberries you want some" I call out to him. I hear his small foot steps rush in then looking down seeing shoto hugging my leg smiling up at me.

"Here" I say giving him one while I set up his high chair. After that I set him in it. "And yummy strawberries" I say setting them Infront of him. "Thank you" he says then digging in.

~the very next day~

I scribble a grocery list down as I make my way into school. I switch out my shoes real quick before adding onto the list.

I sit down at my desk re-reading all the stuff in the list. Once happy I tuck it away in my bag pulling out my notebook. I fiddle with my ring while I scan what I last wrote. "Y/n!" I hear making my soul leave my body. I look up seeing teruhashi. I give my best smile as I pretend like she didn't scare the life out of me.

"Oh wow you wear rings that's so cool!" She says. It's just a simple ring- nothing too special. "It's really pretty where'd you get it" she says giving me a big smile. I just stare at her with an awkward smile. "Oh come on I've heard you talk before so go on. Talk" she says before flipping her hair back.

I look away pretending I was looking for someone. "Y/n are you ignoring me!" She whines. I feel my stomach go icky hearing her whine. Does she really have to do this.

I spot kaidou and I quickly wave to him catching his attention. While he made his way over I snatch my math work out. "What is it y/n?" He asks as I slide my sheet over. I glance to see teruhashi watching what I was doing. "Oh you missed one" kaidou says. What- I was sure I got them all. I see him tap one of them.

"Don't worry it's easy and from what I can see you got most of them right" he says with a small smile. He mentions dark reunion as well as doing a pose before running off. "So y/n-" teruhashi starts but the bell interrupts her before she could really say anything.

I look Infront seeing Kusuo's pink hair. When did he get here- I would've noticed if he walked in or even sat down. I smile looking at his hair. It's such a pretty color. I realized what I was thinking about or well more who I was thinking about so I quickly stop. I spin my ring on my finger looking back up to the board.

I neatly put my papers away before zipping my bag close. Once the bell ring I quickly got up leaving before anyone could stop me.

Before I changed my shoes I noticed it's raining. "Oh wow look at that-" I hear another student say. "It's pouring" I hear Yumehara say. I didn't bring an umbrella. I change my shoes and stand in the front hoping it settles down.

It did not.

Yumehara has a determined look on her face like something is about to happen. I look back to the rain. It's just rain- I can do this. I prepare to just run into the rain but.. like magic it suddenly lightens up and is practically gone.

I smile knowing I don't have to figure a way to keep shoto dry anymore and lightly jog to the daycare.

Kusuo's pov.
After fixing the rain situation I spot y/n but before I could even attempt to talk she jogs away. Im sure I know why since that is the way to the daycare.

Now Y/n doesn't need to worry about shoto needing a away to stay dry. I continue pass Yumehara the way I always walk home.
