Woohoo we made it to 20 chapters time to kill off a character

Y/n's pov.
I grab my bag dumping out all the school supplies so I can fill it with good essentials. I packed a blanket, my phone charger, some books and lastly some clothes.

I zip it shut and head downstairs opening the fridge grabbing a juice or two. I toss the bag down by the door then, I open one and take a drink when suddenly a knock was at the door. I look around spotting the clock on my grandma's kitchen counter reading the time school is normally let out. I don't know who it is but it might be Kusuo since oddly enough he likes to drop by ever so often.

I walk up twisting the doorknob revealing Kusuo. I wanted to smile as soon as our eyes met but I kept my blank look as I looked at him. It was a silent for a little bit but a nice silent..

"your uh work. Since you have been gone" he spoke first. I nod holding my hand out watching him set the papers in my hands. "Are you ok?" He asks calmly As our eyes meet again. I can't ignore him that's rude. "I'm fine. Just a little tired" I mumbled while picking my bag back up. "Excuse me" I say stepping out to lock the door.

I put my keys into my pocket and say "Thank you for bringing my work. I'll see you at school Kusuo" I tried to give him my best smile but I know it didn't look great. I step down the stairs walking away. I feel my face noticing my puffy eyes.. hopefully he didn't notice.

I also hope I made everything seem normal too. I shake my head in hopes not to worry about this anymore as I make my way towards the hospital.

~tis the very next day~

Kusuo's pov.
Like I guessed she's not here. It's not like I can text her or anything since I never asked for her number. And it's not like I can just read her thoughts.

Though there's other people who I can hear the thoughts of.

Toritsuka.

Weirdly enough his thoughts include y/n. And no I do not mean a perverted way, I mean a concerned way. I have to focus on his thoughts as best as I can.

'poor y/n. I feel bad knowing she can't control what's happening'

What does that mean.

'I'll stop by the hospital to check if she's ok. Should I bring anything? Maybe a-'

So she's at the hospital. How does he know that, did he ask a spirit if they knew. It better be a good reason if he did ask one. "Saiki!!" I blink nothing kaidou Infront of my face. He held a piece of jewelry that he explained had a dark secret behind it. It looks like it's from hot topic.

"It's great isn't it" he says holding a finger up to his chin. I stare at him and he puts the ring on. "I see y/n still isn't here, does her family take trips?" Kaidou asks looking up at me. I shrug even though I know she doesn't. "Maybe she works for dark reunion! Nah impossible. She's too sweet" he says as his face is blushing a light pink.

I roll my eyes looking at the clock. It's going to be a long day isn't it.

~but we don't have time to stall now do we~

Before I leave the school I catch toritsuka. "Whoa Saiki" he says jumping. He managed to drop his stuff too "I'm sorry but I can't stand around and talk" he quickly states as he picks up his stuff. "Fine but why are you going to the hospital what happened." He looks at me innocent as possible.

Yeah right he's thinking about how to get out of this situation. "I uh forget you read minds sometimes- I'm sure you already know then. It's for y/n I'm going to visit the hospital" he admits and he gets read to turn away. "Bye Saiki!" He yells as he runs away.

He wasn't helpful at all. And yet he's the one I learned the information from. Its weird following toritsuka. I watch as he looks through the stuffed animals.

'i think it's a bunny.. that's what the favorite was right? Well we'll see.'

That's what he's thinking? What's with the bunny. Though it's probably for y/n now that I think about it.

No one's pov.
Toritsuka continued on his way to the hospital with the bunny in hand.

He makes his way into the hospital looking for the elderly woman also known as his grandmother. Once he spotted her waiting for him patiently he hurries over. "Toritsuka you're so grown" she says. "Thanks! I got this" he says as he held up the green bunny shaking it gently.

"Aw that's sweet they're in this room" grandma says as she lead toritsuka to the room that the others are in. "Y/n, Shoto I want you to meet someone" she speaks as she lets toritsuka in the room. "Who is that." Y/n says as she looks at Toritsuka. She didn't look amused interested.

"Y/n. This is your cousin Toritsuka" grandma says. Y/n's eyes slightly widen as she looked at her grandma. "Hi I got this for you" he says holding out the bunny.

It was an awkward silence that filled the room.

"I'm sorry I never introduced you two sooner it's my fault really" grandma starts "oh no. It really isn't, I should've said hi to her sooner if I only knew what class she was in since you know we go to the same school y/n" Toritsuka says no taking a break from talking. "I guess-" "but now we know each other so now you won't be lonely at school no more!" He says loudly.

Toritsuka looks over noticing Shoto's state he's in.

But yes I made your cousin Toritsuka because I needed a reason to bug Saiki.
