Birds singing a sweet melody, the sound of children's laughter and the sun shining high in the sky. It looked like a perfect day... but not for long; in a few hours no one would be able to see the sun.

Skylar wasn't a morning person, she preferred to stay up all night and sleep all morning. She stood up with a groan, sun peeking through the curtains blinding her eyes making her groan again. She looked to her left and Peter wasn't there; she wanted Peter to come home soon. As she put her slippers on and walked to the bathroom, she decided she should do something productive. Since it was hot outside, Skylar decided to wear a sage two-piece dress.

She went downstairs and stopped a minute to think about what she wanted for breakfast... a fruit salad, that's it! She chopped some apples, pears, strawberries, apricots, grapes and added raspberries. Then she served herself a cup of matcha tea and sat on the porch to eat her healthy breakfast. (Not that I like healthy breakfasts but whatever)

She was enjoying her morning when she heard music coming from the house. It scared her but soon curiosity overcame her fear. She ran inside and looked at the speaker which was now playing the orchestra.

"Weird," Skylar said to herself. "Roxie, why did you turn on the music? I didn't ask you to," Skylar said.

"Music? I didn't turn on the music," Roxie responded.

"Wha- oh um- ok then, turn it off," Skylar said, her heart was pounding really fast, if Roxie didn't turn on the music then who did?

"On it," Roxie said, turning off the music.

"Thanks," Skylar said walking to the door to go outside again.

Just when Skylar was about to step out of the house, the music started again, playing the same orchestra.

"Roxie, if this is a joke then I don't find it funny," Skylar said, scared and mad.

"I swear it's not me Skylar," Roxie said. (Can an AI swear? In this story, yes.)

In that moment, fear rushed through Skylar's veins, her skin crawled, her pupils dilated and her legs were shaking from fear. "Then who is it!" Skylar demanded, raising her voice.

"I'm trying to find out," Roxie said.

Skylar couldn't stand being there another minute, so she grabbed her sneakers and quickly exited the house.

Skylar walked to main street to try and forget what had happened in her house. The thought of something or someone she couldn't see in her house gave her goosebumps. But she was interrupted from her thoughts when she heard people screaming.
