Hibiya x Reader; I Truly Love You (Requested)

I made some parts based off of the manga 'Chicchai Toki Kara Suki Dakedo'... H-Hey it's actually a really good manga-

"Hey (Name)!" The young Hibiya called out to his best friend (Name). Her back was facing him while she was happily observing the family of bunnies in front of her. Once hearing her name, she turned around to face Hibiya, "Ah Hibiya! Is anything wrong?" She asked him. Hibiya shook his head and blushed at what he was about to say,

"I-I was wondering if you want to get married to me once we get older...!"

The young brunette along with the (h/c)-nette. The little girl then smiled, "Sure!" She replied with a cheerful tone. Hibiya blushed, his eyes averting away as he held out his pinky, "P-Promise?", (Name) giggled and linked her pinky along with his,

"Promise!"

{A Few Years Later}
The two childhood friends, Hibiya and (Name), were now 12. Sadly (Name)'s best friend, or Hibiya's friend, Hiyori died in an 'accident'. (Name) knew Hibiya liked Hiyori, even if they made a promise to get married to each other. Though it pained (Name) to know this, she kept on smiling no matter how much her heart hurt. After Hiyori died, Hibiya would always be picked up from the Mekakushi Dan by (Name) to go and play.

"And who's your girlfriend Shota?" Momo asked one day. (Name) wasn't there when she asked the question luckily, but Hibiya started furiously blushing once Momo asked.
With a crimson red color tainted onto Hibiya's face, he replied to Momo's question,

"Sh-Shut Up Oba-san!! And plus, she's not even my girlfriend..."

"I told you I'm not that old already!! Also, you seem depressed that she isn't your girlfriend. I thought you liked Hiyori..." Momo pondered on the thought as Hibiya took a sip from his soda and looked to the side.

He then sighed and set his can next to him, "I feel like I already hurt her enough, I do still like Hiyori, but I like (Name) too..." The confused boy explained, looking up at the sky above him. Momo gazed at him then grinned cheekily, slapping Hibiya's back playfully.

"GAH-"

"I know this isn't my business but, don't wait until it's too late and don't hold back your feelings. You know Onii-chan held back and look where that got him... Anyways, Bye!"

Momo gave her last words of advice, then ran back to the others as she noticed the approaching (Name) running towards them. Hibiya blinked then looked back and saw (Name) running towards him, "Hibi...." (Name) ran faster as she breather heavily, "ya..." She finished. "Hi Hibiya-kun!~" (Name) happily chirped. Hibiya gave no response and took a deep breath,

"(N-Name)!"

"Mm?"

"I... I really...." Hibiya sighed and looked down at his feet, (Name) tilting her head in confusion at the shota. "Never mind..." He breathed out, noticing the Dan walking towards the two.

[A Few Months/Weeks/Days Later]
Today was (Name)'s birthday, and today (Name) wanted to spend it with the Mekakushi Dan. Usually she'd celebrate it with her family, but they died the year after she met Hibiya in a plane crash.

"Ah, Hibi-kun!"

(Name) called, waving at the shota that was a few feet in front of her. He turned to her but immediately went hiding by running away from her. She frowned slightly for a split second, but then smiled, confusion still playing on her features. She tried going to the Dan's base, but nobody was there. She then suddenly ran out of the Dan's base with her fresh tears trailing behind her.

She kept on running until she lifted up her head, gazing at the neighborhood park before her. She sighed, then walked over to the set of swings. (Name) sat on the swings, pushing herself softly back and forth while holding back her own tears. Time passed by while she kept on swinging, then letting the tears that she held back drip down her chin. Soft sobbing noises filled the empty spaces in between the park trees, random bystanders stopping by and asking if she was alright. Though her obvious answer would either be, "I'm alright!" or "It's fine, don't worry about me!".

Her eyes stayed staring at the ground, until a shadow appeared over her. "Ah... I'm fine.... I'm fine..." (Name) trailed off on her words, her voice getting into a shushed tone from the drowsiness slowly taking over her. "No your not, baka! If you were fine then you wouldn't be smiling right now!" A familiar voice scolded her, she looked up and saw Hibiya holding a small bag in front of her. She tilted her head in confusion when Hibiya suddenly took her hand and put something around her ring finger. Her eyes slowly opened, then shot open once seeing the ring Hibiya gifted her. "H-Happy Birthday (N-Name)...!" Hibiya said, looking away while furiously blushing.

(Name) was still in a state of shock, "D-Does this mean...-"

Hibiya glared at her and pulled her into a hug, "I-I like you I-Idiot!"

(Name) softly smiled and hugged Hibiya back, "I like you too..."

{13 Years Later} (A/N: I SWEAR IM ALMOST DONE)
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest said with a smile on his face. Hibiya blushed furiously and kissed (Name), passionate, yet gentle. The kiss lasted a few seconds until Kano yelled out, "Get a room you two~" He teased. Hibiya sent a death glare towards Kano and smacked his head, "Sh-Shut up!".

Momo ran up to (Name) while wiping her tears, "I'm so proud of you two!!!!!!", Momo cried out, wiping tears of joy with a bit of snot running down her nose. (Name) and Mary giggled at the sight, Kido walking up to he three girls with a blush on her face. "Ah Danchou! You look very beautiful in that dress!" (Name) complimented, Kido blushing even darker and smiling gratefully at (Name). Ayano came towards the two with her arm wrapping Shintaro's, "I'm so proud of you (Name)-chan!" Ayano said, Shintaro nodding in agreement. (I'm sorry if you don't ship the two)

Hibiya started walking towards (Name), taking hold of her hand with a gentle smile on his face. The newly wed couple walked over to a carriage, hopped in and rode off. But before they left, (Name) threw the bouquet of flowers up in the air, the bouquet landing in Momo's hands. "Eh?" Momo said, with a derp face.

Kuroha suddenly picked up Momo bridal style and carried her away, "She's my queen!!" Kuroha yelled before running off with Momo.

Meanwhile, (Name) and Hibiya held hands in the carriage, watching the sunset end (so cliché). "I truly love you..." Hibiya mumbled, smiling at (Name). (Name) only giggled and said the same thing back to Hibiya.

The Summer may have ended, but there will always be another one for a new romance to bloom~
