"hi bff" dawn playfully emitted before we enter in mall, we are wearing some glasses and normal outfit just to assure that no people see us or recognize us. they might see us but a normal people.
"soo i heard some news again about your family in your father birthday last week ago." dawn said after we sat our butt, we're here in our favourite dream cafe.
"your really a chismosa noh" i said and rolled my eyes.
"yes i am irene to make sure na your always in a safe place ayoko naman mawalan ng bff noh" she mockingly said.
"ayy talaga ba, ngengenge." i mockingly her voice cracking that make us laugh.
"anyway dawn, habang tumatagal it's becoming difficult for us to move on. we don't know how we survive in this cruel and dark world." i said before dawn grab my hand.
"i feel sorry for those people." i said and wiped my tears.
"you don't have to say sorry for those people who settle for less in their lives irene, i know you know how your father sacrifice his life for philiipines, you witness how he do everything for the sake of everyone lives. we can't deny the fact that there's people die because of martial law, but we know na mas maraming naligtas na tao over of komunista. maraming nabulag sa kasinungalingan pero wag ka magalala bff dadating din ang araw na ang katotohanan din ang lilitaw tsaka we both know na nilaban niya ang pilipinas hanggang sa huling hininga niya and now his time is come he's peacefully sleeping now, did you think na matutuwa siya when he see you crying like that? his bunso?" she said controling her voice. she's being modulated because some people might hear us.
"i know, i know dawn. thank you."
i said and hugged her.
"maam, oorder po kayo?" we both interrupt when someone speak beside us.
"ah sorry, yep. one mocha caramel without toppings and less sugar thank you, how about you dawn." i asked her.
"one matcha with frape and one slice of chocolate cake, thanks." she said before waiter handed the order list.
"maiba tayo, so anong plano niyo ni greggy? magvavacation ba kayo together? malapit na ang anniversary wedding niyo ah?" she asked, then i realized bakit nga ba hindi pa namin pinaguusapan to ni greg.
"i don't think so, siguro sa bahay lang but di pa namin napapagusapan ni greg eh, maaga kase siya umaalis this past few days marami sigurong problema sa office nila." i said she just smirked, "oh why are you smirking?" i said but the waiter approach us and handed us our order.
after the waiter handed us our order he left out immediately.
"so why are you smirking?" i asked.
"bakit pinapayagan mo ang asawa mong hindi nagpapaalam sayo sa umaga? gaano mo nga ba siya pinagkakatiwalaan?"she asked out of the blue.
"ano namang klaseng tanong yan? dawn he's my husband i know him with all my life alam ko kung nagsisinungaling siya o hindi. and i know i'm sure he can't do what your thinking on me. i'm really sure." i said seriously. this get me offended is she questioning our relationship like?
"i need to go dawn see you next time" i kiss her cheeks.
"bye" she said. i handed her the payment of my drink.
"no irene, keep it. it's okay" she said softly.
"no it's not" i said and left my money in the table infront of her before i wear my black glasses and left out in that cafe. ano bang iniisip niya why she questioning me like that!
i ran outside the mall and walk in the parking lot. i was about to open my car when someone grab my arm.
i was about to shout when dawn cover my mouth "it's me don't panic. i'm not stranger right?" she said i just looking at her eyes without saying anything.
"i'm sorry to make it sound offensive but irene i didn't mean anything in that question, i'm just warm you regarding of that cheating. because even though their hands on their still a boy." she emitted.
"no dawn don't manipulate and judge the all boys around you because their are different personalities between all of them! so please stop that" i said.
"i'm just giving you a warning irene but if you didn't want to listen it's okay just please irene, don't mad at me please?" she make a puffy eyes.
"you know dawn hindi ako marunong magalit right? matitis ba kita?" i said and open my arm for her.
it's relief........
