"Hang in there Yelena, we're almost there."

"I'm fine guys," Yelena replied. Cooper had found a med kit wedged between the back seats (also for plot convenience) and Natasha had used it to wrap Yelena's wound. Now Yelena was sitting up, her right arm carefully clutching her side.

Natasha was quick to reply, "No you're not."

Yelena stuck her tongue out at her.

"Kids! Look out the window!" Clint said.

They rounded the corner, and the Avengers Compound was in sight. All three of the kids gasped and stared. Even Yelena was a bit impressed.

"Woah," Cooper murmured.

Clint pulled up to the entrance and stopped the car. Lila scrambled to open the car door and almost face planted on the cement as she got out of the car. Clint steadied her before she could fall.

"Thanks," Lila said. She stared up at the compound in awe. "Can we go inside?!" Not waiting for a response, she dashed towards the entrance.

"Wait up!" Nathanial called, chasing after her with Cooper right behind him.

Natasha helped Yelena out of the car without her pain sharpening too badly, even though Yelena insisted that she didn't need the help. Then they made their way to the Compound with Clint.

Lila darted into the lobby and looked around while everyone else was coming in. "Where are all the Avengers?"

"Friday," Clint said as he walked in, "where is everyone?"

"All the Avengers are upstairs in the den, except for Bruce and Peter, they are in the medical bay," a disembodied voice replied, "Would you like me to alert them to your presence?"

"No, it's alright Friday. They'll know soon enough." Clint replied before walking over to a flight of stairs and leading the way up.

Natasha helped Yelena up the first few stairs before Yelena told her she could do it herself. Nathanial and Lila darted ahead of everyone else, super excited to meet the other superheroes.

"Nate, Lila, you're going the wrong way," Clint called after them. Groaning in annoyance, the two kids dropped back and Clint led the way to the den. All of the kids grew more nervous and excited the closer they got.

And with good reason. They were about to walk into a room full of Avengers.

They all turned a corner and walked into the den, a spacious room with chairs to lounge on, a large tv placed in front and a big glass coffee table placed in between them.

Just like Friday said, most of the avengers were sitting in there. Yelena could recognize them all from the news, and smiled a little bit when she recalled some of the stories Natasha had told her about them.

There were a few moments of silence before freaking Captain America spoke up.

"Clint! It's good to see you again!"

"Long time no see," Clint replied.

After that the rest of the room jumped into conversation, happily catching up with their old friend.

Natasha watched grumpily as Clint talked with the other Avengers.

"Miss your friends?" Yelena teased. "Don't worry, I've got this." She cleared her throat loudly.

Everyone paused their conversation and looked at Yelena, suddenly on edge.

"Why are you guys so freaked out? I don't have any weapons on me," Yelena tilted her head slightly, "Okay. I take that back. I don't have any weapons currently in my hands... That's a lie also."
