"Sucker's resilient," Marcel comments while looking at Elijah's desiccated corpse that lay in his coffin, in the church attic where his 'secret weapon', Davina, too resided, "doesn't matter. Time to give old Elijah back to Klaus, anyway."
"You asked me to figure out how to kill the Originals. I'm not done yet," Davina retorts almost angrily, "silver dagger hurts them but that's it."
"Davina, we've been through this. Klaus saved my life, now I owe him one," Marcel reminds her.
Davina rolls her eyes at him before speaking up again, "tonight's the annual Dauphine Street Music Festival, I want to go. Please?"
"The whole point of you being up here is so you're never spotted out there," Marcel replies in a frustrated voice, "you know who work smack in the middle of Dauphine Street. Sophie Deveraux, pain-in-the-ass witch. And you know what the witches will do to you if they find you."
"But you control the witches," Davina retorts, "make her go away. Marcel, please. It's just one night."
"Davina, I said no," Marcel repeats before turning to walk away as Davina speaks up again, from behind him.
"I do everything you say," she exclaims, "but sometimes, I think you forget what I'm capable of. Did you know Evie taught me how to make someone's blood boil?" she threatens, "all I have to do is focus."
Marcel immediately feels a sizzling, warm sensation overtake his body as he starts to perspire heavily and he feels as though his skin was on fire.

Davina smiles at him smugly as Marcel wipes away his sweat before letting out a short laugh, "fine. We compromise, alright?" he agrees as Davina grins at him happily.
"You going out alone is too dangerous, but I'll ask Evie to accompany you. I trust her enough to know you'll be safe with her," he says as Davina nods happily before rushing to wrap him into a loving hug.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," she chants in excitement as Marcel chuckles at her actions.

"I am going insane with all this work," Evelyn whines as Jade refills her drink while rolling her eyes at her best friend.
"You say that now, but you still take up all this work Marcel assigns to you. Sometimes, I think you forget that you're not his personal assistant or anything," Jade points out as Evelyn sighs, resting her head against the counter-table.
