The twins were currently preparing dinner for the family when they hear the doorbell go off.
"It's probably mom, I'll get it. We're not mentioning any of this to her, okay?" Jace warns as he walks to the front door and holds it open.
"Hey mom, long day-" he trails off when he notices it wasn't Emma at the door, "Davina? What're you doing here?"
"Hey Jace, is Evie here?" Davina trails off, trying to peek into the house.
"Um no, Evelyn left a while back," Jace answers hesitantly when his eyes land on Josh, "what- why're you looking for her? Is everything alright?"
"Yeah sure, you could say that. Do you mind if we come in?" Davina asks as she steps in, without waiting for a reply.
Jace moves out of the way as Davina walks into the hallway and Josh stands outside, awkwardly.
"Um Davina," he calls out lowly as Davina turns around to him and remembers why he was still stood outside.
"Jace, you need to invite him in," she tells the werewolf, who in return, makes a shocked face at her.
"You want me to-"
"I swear, he means no harm," Davina assures, "he's a friend of mine. Evie trusts him."

Just then, Jade walks in to the hallway as she asks, "J, what is taking you so...Davina?"
Davina rushes to hug the female werewolf into a comforting hug as Jade hesitantly hugs back. "Evie told me what happened," Davina states, "I'm sorry you had to get dragged into this."
"Hey, it's alright. It's not any of you guys' fault," Jade reassures as her eyes trail off to Josh, who was still stood outside. He was the one who replaced Jade's vervain, as instructed by Klaus and so, his fear was getting to the best of him when he realized Jade was a friend of Evelyn's.
"You," Jade points at him, "you're one of Klaus' vampires. What are you doing here?"
"He's a friend of mine," Davina chimes in, "believe me, you can trust him. He means no harm."
"He...he's the one who used to replace my vervain, 'Vina," Jade mumbles, "he used to visit Rousseau's often and I remember seeing his lurk around the backdoor."
"You what?" Jace spat instantly in fury as Josh looked at Davina with a scared expression, knowing how fatal an angry werewolf was to a vampire like him.
"He was compelled!" Davina exclaimed before things could escalate, "Klaus compelled him to do his dirty work just like he compelled you, Jade. Josh is innocent. Please, you have to trust me," she pleaded earnestly as Jade contemplated the situation.
