boram was in one of jyp's practice rooms when her manager came in and called her up to one of the meeting rooms where yedam and his company representatives waited for her. knocking politely on the door, the young idol peeks her head into the room, bowing to the staff she saw and greeting them with a light-hearted smile. "annyeonghaseyo," she enters the room, gently closing the door behind her before approaching the table.

"boram-ah, take a seat," one of the staff gestures to the high schooler who quickly nodded in response and followed his instructions, taking a seat beside yedam who remained quiet throughout the entire interaction. "do you know why you are here boram?"

"uh...no," boram politely responded, rubbing her sweating palms against her sweatpants. "did i do something wrong?" she muttered to the staff who shook their head 'no'.

"this fake relationship you two have," yg's representative began, pointing between yedam and boram who exchanged a glance before they looked back at the staff. "it has stopped catching the eye of the public. people are now over other news, however, your fake relationship has benefited us."

"yes, treasure has gained some popularity due to your interactions," the jyp staff nodded in agreement. "however it is time for this fake relationship to end. write a statement and we shall release them by tonight, understand?" the staff glared at the young girl who merely nodded and gave a sheepish smile.

"that means the same for you yedam," the yg staff tells the boy who mirrored boram's actions, the two staff standing and leaving the room to grab a coffee, leaving the two idols alone inside the meeting room to write their personal statements.

"i was wondering when they'd make us stop," yedam chuckled, glancing over to boram who released the breath she didn't know she was holding. nodding in agreement, the female slid over a piece of paper and pen to the older male as they spoke comfortably to one another.

"i know. i don't think this fake relationship really benefit either of our groups at all - i mean, both our groups are pretty successful on their own," the female nodded to her own words, seeing yedam nod in agreement. "but that doesn't mean we can still hang out together."

"that's right," yedam nodded. "we are friends after all," he laughed as boram joined him, the room slowly falling into silence as they wrote their letters.

later that night, boram received a message from her best friend from school, gayoon about the article - screenshots of both hers and yedam's written letters addressing the 'break up' attached to the message.

dear midzys and teumes,
hello, this ahn bo ram of itzy,
i would like to thank everyone who has shown love and support to yedam's and i's relationship, your support has meant a lot to us.
i am sad to tell you all that yedam and i have mutually decided to part ways from each other.
when we talked about this, we came to realise we were better off as friends instead of a couple and share no harsh feelings about the outcome. although we are broken up, the two of us remain as friends and hope you can still love and support us in the future.
thank you.
— ahn bo ram
