Chapter four

They made me look that I was the bad guy, the guy who made all the mistakes. I’m done being the nice guy, I’m done getting hurt. They said I was the the bad guy, then I’m going to show them how this bad guy would really roll.

Over the weekend Rachel, Khalil, Cat went to the Spring’s Resort for the annual bonding day, and guess who replaced me? Bryce. Pictures of them having fun, it made me angrier, I shut my laptop down and prepared to be the school’s new bad guy. I got a new haircut; I lost the side swept bangs and styled my hair with a Faux Hawk hairstyle. From lumber jackets and a shirt, I wore a leather jacket paired with some old school converse. I reinvented myself, it’s Jeremy McCallister, rebooted.

The first step I took inside my school, I got everyone’s attention. All their eyes were on me, including Rachel, Khalil and Cat. I ignored them and kept walking with pride, looking at myself as the new bad guy on the block.

“Looking good, McCallister!” Lance shouted.

“I needed a reboot that’s all.” I said

“You definitely look like one of the guys now, all you need to do is act like one.” He said.

I felt Rachel’s eyes on me as she thinks bad of me, but I didn’t care anymore. I’m tired of being the loser, now they just all have to deal with it.

“Oh My! Ohh la la, Jeremy! Is it just the sun weather or you’re just really that hot today!” Lexi exclaimed.

“I’m going with your second guess.” I replied.

I became very confident about myself, all the girls wanting to be with me. It looked like I hit the jackpot!

During lunch, I was hanging out with Lance, he told me that I looked like one of the guys, but I haven’t acted like one.

“Listen Jeremy, if you really want to be one of the guys, you should act the part.” He said.

            “It’s easy.” I replied

“Okay, if it’s that easy… You see that nerd?” He said as he pointed Nolan, a guy from my old club who I used to be close with.

            “Nolan? What about him?”

“Go up to that nerd and slam his locker shut and then slam his books down.” Lance said. I didn’t knew if I could do it, Nolan’s a nice person and he has never done something bad to me.

“Come on Lance, Nolan’s a nice guy. I don’t want to be a bully to him.”

“I knew it, you can’t do it. I guess you’re just not a cool dude material.” He said. I took a deep breath and thought of the possibilities that might happen but I reminded myself that I’m not the old nice Jeremy anymore.

“Fine, I’ll do it.” I said and without another word I came up to Nolan, he smiled at me but he didn’t knew what I was planning to do.

            “Hi Jeremy!” Nolan said

My face turned pale, not wanting to be mean to him; bit I have to so I can the new image I want.

“So sorry Nolan.” I said under my breath.

I slammed his locker then slammed his book which he’s holding and then left. I left Nolan’s face with confusion as he picked up his books that I slammed onto the ground.
