We were woken up to a blaring alarm. This is unusual. Sae grabbed my hand and dragged me to the center of the room.

The guards looked at us. I guess making sure it was us? Sae turns to look at me after they pass us. "You okay?" She asks and I nod the lady announces that the fourth game is about to begin.

We walk into the game hall until we see people hanged. I looked down in disgust. The way they were hanging made me uncomfortable. I block out the person speaking voice. I felt Sae hold my hand I squeezed it seeking comfort.

We got to the white room we were once in before. "Players, Welcome to the fourth game. For this game you will be playing in teams of two. Please look around and find someone to play with. When you have found a partner shake hands to show that you are partners." The lady said and repeated the instructions.

I looked at 240 and then Sae. I wanted them to be partners. The timer starts and me and everyone else on the team were sitting on the steps. I was playing with Sae's fingers.

"Hey handsome, let's do this huh?" 212 asked Gi-Hun she had said her name I just didn't care to listen for it. "I'm better then you think, I'm better then most guys too!" She tells Gi-Hun he stays quite.

She runs over to Sang-Woo. "Hey let me play with you. Then I'll be your dream girl all night long." I heard her say I almost vomited. "Your pretending that you don't want me on your team is that it?" She asked this is honestly embarrassing for her.

"What can't decide? Want me to choose instead huh?" She said "Stop embarrassing yourself. No one will want to play with you like this, and you should all be honest. You don't want a girl to team up with or an old guy." I said.

"Of course we don't. We'll die. We already almost died in the previous round." A man said "And?We all are gonna die in here no matter what, no matter who we team up with we all are gonna die in here so what's the fucking problem?" I asked obviously mad.

"The man is right, and it was Adam's rib the lord used to make Eve after all, And that's the reasonthat we are choosing men. They played different roles than wome."Another man said.

"And this is why I'm gay." I said "You idiot. We're not playing in Eden right now." I heard 240 say. I got up and grabbed Sae's hand pulling her up and started walking away. "Uh, hold on a second." I heard Gi-Hun say "Why? You want a girl?" I asked and he stayed quite I scoffed "Just as I thought." I said and walked away.

240 put her hand out for Sae, Sae looked at me "Hey it's okay I'm gonna team up with someone else. You and 240 have fun." I said and walked away. I ended teaming up with this girl 046. "Hey. Let's play together?" I asked her. She nodded and I put my hand out for her to shake.

Sae's POV

I looked around and seen Yeona team up with a girl of the number 046. Me and 240 we're teamed up. The lady announced our time was up. We walked where they had asked us to. I seen Yeona walk there looking back at 212 because she was yelling at her because she didn't have a teammate. "Hey! Leave me alone okay!" I heard Yeona yell and drag the girl she was playing with along with her.

We walked into a fake neighborhood. I seen Yeona start playing with her fingers. The staff brought me and 240 to a place with stairs.

Yeonas POV

The guard had stopped and we just stood there waiting when the lady announced that we had to take the bag from the guard. I took it and seen marbles.

I started counting to make sure I had all 10. I seen the girl counting. "In this game using the set of ten marbles. You will play the game of your choice with your partner."

I blocked out everything after that. That meant Sae could die. Or I could die. Ali, 001, Gi-Hun, or even 240. They could all die. Even my partner she immediately looked at me and I looked at her.

Shit.

I was gonna let Ji-Yeong live but it would make zero sense bc that's what happens for a reason.
