Anna POV
'Love'
He called me fucking 'love'. At that moment I could fucking strangle him. Nobody would even miss him expect his pathetic little friend. But I decided against it and kept my calm. Didn't want to start the day with a blood bath. It did anyway but it sadly wasn't Ace's blood.
I am packing my shit right now and some poor maids are trying to clean the living room. De Luca told me he'd meet me at the airport because he has his stuff at their apartment left obviously. Vanessa, Seb and Lorenzo will only come to Vegas by tomorrow because they have to 'clean' some things up here in Tokyo. And yes, we will fly on the same plane because it's more logical, considering we will stay at my house.
I walk into the living room with a small suitcase and a duffle bag and see the maids still trying to shrub the blood of the walls and the carpet. I bite my lip and fish a few 34.000 Yen (≈ 300 American dollar) out of my purse as an apology and tip and put it on the coffee table. They turn around and their eyes widen while shaking their head in disapproval. "Take it. I have more than I need." I flash them a smile and walk out of the apartment, leaving the keys on the kitchen table for Seb and Vanessa.
My driver is already waiting for me outside and takes my luggage while I get into the back seat of the Jeep. The drive takes a while so I lean my head back and close my eyes for a bit.
The car pulls up to the private area of the airport and I already see Ace leaning against the drivers side. He has a navy blue suit on, his muscles flexing in the jacket and his tattoos creeping out under his shirt. He is on the phone with someone but I can't decipher what he's talking about.
I get out of the car and walk to the trunk, taking out my luggage. Ace walks toward me while putting his phone into his inner jacket pocket, looking me up and down.
I decided on wearing grey sweatpants with blue Jordans, a white crop top and a college jacket that I stole from Vanessa.
He takes the luggage out of my hands and starts walking toward his jet. I narrow my eyes at him in suspicion as to why he's such a gentleman today. He stops in his tracks and looks back at me rolling his eyes as he sees me standing on the same spot. "Are you coming or am I supposed to carry you, too?" he slightly shouts.
I start walking my eyes not leaving his. When I pass him I oh, so 'accidentally' bump into him and make my way into the jet, hearing him mutter something along the lines, 'god, how I hate that woman'.
When Ace gets in a man in his early 50s greets us and takes my luggage to the back of the jet.
Ace walks to what looks like a mini bar with many drinks and little snacks like chips and gummy bears. He fills his glass with whiskey and walks as far into the back as possible, which is not that far because there is a door that sepperates this part of the plane with probably a small bedroom on the other side. I take a place near the entrance, as far away from him as I can. I take a place but instantly get up again when I notice I have forgotten to take some stuff out.
