Loving the Enemy

Chapter 17

It's 8.30 and I'm sitting in a black van, parked in some garage near the casino with Ace. We are communicating with the others through some coms and watch them over the cameras that we have hacked in.

After Aces and mine little collision I went to shower and finished some paperwork before getting ready. And it might be that I'm still a bit pissed. Maybe that's how he felt.

"East entrance is cleared." Vanessa informs through the com. I nod even though she can't see me and silently lean back in my seat, waiting for my entrance to finally get away from Ace in this small place. Ono is already there, flirting with women and playing games, waiting for the deal.

10 minutes go by of us just sitting and watching through the cameras that we have hacked in. The back door of the van is suddenly thrown open and out of reflex I draw my gun, pointing it there. Lorenzo stands there, little blood drops visible on his white dress shirt. He lifts his hands in the air as I put the gun down, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Couldn't you open it more gently?"

"No, no I couldn't." He gives me a mischievous little grin, at which I just roll my eyes. He settles himself behind Ace, looking at the many screens. I turn back, too and look for Vanessa, finding her at a bar, drinking a cocktail, looking sexy as always. She looks elegant in her black satin dress. It looks like it's made just for her, hugging all her curves.

I decided to put on a green corset dress, with a slit on the side, where I hide my daggers and a gun. I have put on some brown contacts and a short, brown wig, just in case.

"Wait- is that- why is he here so early?"

"What do you mean Sebastian? Who is there?"

Vanessa cuts Seb off, "Akitsugu Watanabe. He's here earlier than expected."

I furrow my brows "He isn't supposed to be there till ten though. It's only nine now."

"Surprisingly there aren't many guards with him. Wait. Can anyone see Ono?"

I look at the camera and give Sebastian a no, as well as the others.

I sigh. "Alright plan change. Everyone expect for Vanessa and Sebastian out. I will go in now."

I stand up and walk to the door and Lorenzo instantly takes in my place. I roll my eyes and get out, taking the short walk to the front entrance. The doors are already open, ready to greet me. The place is decorated in Christmas theme and in the middle of the room there stands a beautiful big Christmas tree.

When I look to my left I see Vanessa already looking at me. She looks up to the stairs at the far back, pointing me to where Sebastian is. I keep walking and looking around for any suspicions or a clue of where Hidekazu Ono is. Men have already noticed me, looking me up and down with hungry eyes but I pay no mind to them.

I walk up the stairs, past some people who are making out there. There is a club up there and Onos' office somewhere near. I have to see that I can get there because he might hide there.

Music and bright neon light hit me when I walk in, people dancing and girls grinding their asses on boys' dicks. Across from me is a bar and Sebastian standing there, sipping on some drink. He only notices me once I walk up to the bar and order a drink.

I eye the bartender up and down and he gives me a smirk when he notices. He's actually pretty hot, black hair, well built and beautiful green eyes.

"Anna, concentrate." Sebastian hisses at me before taking a sip of his drink. I scoff looking at him who is looking at some girl that just came to the bar to order a drink. "Says the one who is eyeing all the girls in this room." I feel him glare at me but I don't spare him a second glance when the bartender comes back with my drink. He slides it across the bar table, giving me a wink, making me smirk. When this is finished I might as well come home later then everyone else. I turn my back to him but I still feel him glance at me from time to time.

I lift myself off the barstool and start walking around a bit when Lorenzo starts talking, sounding kind of worried. "Uhh. Guys. I think there's a little problem there."

I sigh and walk to the bathrooms to have some privacy and luckily no one is there.

I hear Ace muttering a 'What the fuck'. Vanessa sighs and asks, "What is it?"

"There's another man in the poker room with Watanabe now. It seems like they are talking about the shipment."

I scowl. What in the world is going on?

I look into the big mirror, only to notice a silhouette in the corner of the room. It looks like they are dressed in all black.

Quickly I take out my dagger and throw it at their head, but they are quick to dodge it and slide to me, giving me no time to react when they kick my foot, making me fall to the floor with a grunt.

They get on top of me and start punching me in the face and stomach and anywhere they can get. I lift my knee and kick them in the stomach, causing them to fall off me. They are quick to get back to their feet, just like me.

"Anna? Anna, what is going on?" I hear Vanessa ask worriedly.

The person in front of me lifts their hand behind their back, taking something out. A Katana.

I give them an unimpressed look, "Are you serious? That's not even fair."

They grab behind their back and take out a second Katana, throwing it at my direction. I catch it and give them a surprised look. "I guess that's fair." I mutter.

In one quick motion we are fighting again and the sound of the Katanas hitting against each other fills the room.

"What the fuck is going on there Anna?" Ace asks through the com but I can't answer because suddenly the Katana flies out of my hand and lands on the floor, the sound of it echoes trough the room and distracts me enough that they push me hard against the sink, making me let out a loud groan.

"Anna, where are you? I'm coming to you." Sebastian sounds out of breath. He's probably searching for me around the whole place but is too stupid to search in the ladies bathroom. My dogs would've found me by long now.

They take out something from their back pocket and hold it up. A syringe.

I take out another dagger and stab them in their stomach. Their grip on the syringe loosens a bit, so I take the chance and elbow their underarm, causing the syringe to fall to the floor.

Suddenly the door flies open and I let out a sigh of relieve.

But that little bit of hope is destroyed when someone else comes in, in all black, too. The person in front of me pins me to the sink so that I'm not able to move. The new person takes out another syringe and I try to fight but they hold me down really tight.

The syringe is stabbed into my neck. I can already feel my muscles go weak and my eyelids closing.

Just as I am to black out the door is thrown open again and I really hope it's Seb.
