Anna POV
The door slams open and in come Vanessa, Levina and Kiyoko with wine glasses and three bottles of wine.
"Woah. You know that in 2 hours we will go to dinner, right?"
Kiyoko rolls her eyes. "We know. We won't drink it all. We'll just store it in your room."
I narrow my eyes at her, knowing damn well she doesn't mean it. And she knows it.
"Don't be a party pooper, Anna", says Vanessa as she flops down on my bed.
I shoot her the middle finger as Levi hands me a glass, fully filled with red wine that it almost spills.
"Okay, tell me what's wrong."
They give each other some suspicious looks before Levina sighs and leans her head against my shoulder. "It's because of Mateo."
Oh god.
"I know." Ops. Guess I said it out lout. "I mean he's my best friend. I really love him but... lately we argue too much about some nonsense. For example, today: when I went into the kitchen to put the dishes away, he came in and started talking about how I should 'behave' in front of you guys because apparently, I'm acting like a bitch. And not too long ago, when this all kind of started, we went to the club. I started dancing with some hot dude, green beautiful eyes, brown fluffy hair, sharp jaw and oh that bo-"
"Get to the point Levina."
"Anyway, he pulled me away from that guy and dragged me out of the club. A day later I found out Mateo killed that poor handsome guy. His excuse was that he knew the guy and that he, apparently, 'owed him money for a long time now'. But I know that's not true because I know of every business and every people who owe us money. So, I know he lied. Why? I don't know."
I share a look with the others.
"What?"
"Girl your either blind or deaf. I point on both." Vanessa flicks Levi's' forehead and takes a sip of her wine.
Levi glares at her. "She's right though. I think that he is jealous. And I believe that he developed more than just 'sister love' for you. I see the way he looks at you. Baby, he always has that spark in his eyes and sometimes they even darken. You know what that means? He's thinking dirty. Of you." Kiyoko gives her a pointed look.
"Eww. No. Stop that. We are best friends since I was born. Why would he suddenly develop more than just sister love for me? That's absurd-"
Levina is interrupted when someone bangs loudly on the door. "Anna, get your fucking dogs in line. They are destroying my whole fucking home." Mateo. Just the man we were talking about. Great.
"Chill, they are not that bad." He slams the door open, and Athena comes running in, immediately jumping onto my lap. I rub behind her ear and her tail starts wiggling, almost causing Vanessas wine glass to fall out of her hand.
"Anna, Mateo is right. Get your damn dog in line."
"Shut up Vanessa. You are just jealous of Athena and Zeus." Athena's tongue falls out of pleasure and turns her head to look at Vanessa, who is glaring daggers at my poor little thing.
"Why should she be jealous?"
"Levina, baby. Anna loves her dogs more than her best friends. Am I right Vanessa?" Now Vanessas glare turns to Kiyoko.
"I don't fucking care who loves who more. I don't want your dogs to destroy anything in this house, Anna." He points a warning finger my way before glaring at the rest of us. "And put the damn wine away. We will go out in an hour." Now he's leaving and actually closing the door after him. Something that Vanessa can't do but my dogs surprisingly can.
