When Vanessa and Sebastian saw the two they completely freaked out. Vanessa started hitting Daishi but they were as happy as me.Daishi and Kiyoko followed us with their car home to us. Of course Alex was surprised to see them, too. We ate, without Lorenzo and Ace, who said they had some business to finish.
We sat there till at least two am and chatted a lot. Sky liked them both really much but of course she had to go to sleep earlier then we. Today was just an exception.
We planned on discussing the plan tomorrow in a meeting with the rest of our soldiers. I already called it in for the afternoon. After that we went separate ways, but not before showing Kiyoko and Daishi their new room.
I am not letting them leave again. From now on they are apart of our mafia again. Not that they ever really left it.
Remember when I told you about the people I met in Tokyo and that joined my Mafia? Well that's them. There were others but like I mentioned they got killed on some missions I sent them on. The guilt of killing them still lives with me. And when the two people I have learned to love, expect for Vanessa and Seb, suddenly disappeared I thought it was my fault. That they couldn't live with my lifestyle anymore and wanted a different life. That they put the guilt on the death of their friends on me, too. But when we couldn't reach them and couldn't find any clue on them we assumed they were dead. Later on we found out that Fuji guy last saw them so we thought he killed them and executed their bodies somewhere where you won't ever find them.
I toss and turn in bed, not being able to find a way to fall asleep. I look beside me at my nightstand where my digital clock stands.
3.25 am. A-fucking-mazing.
I sigh and decide to get out of bed to get something to drink and maybe eat. I walk down the stairs to the kitchen and see a small light, probably from the fridge, already on.
When I walk in the fridge is closed and it's dark again. I can only see a silhouette of a for sure tall and muscular person. I walk to the fridge and look around, taking out some orange juice and take out a cookie dough ice cream from the freezer. I leave the fridge open for some light, put the stuff on the counter in the middle and make my way to a cabinet.
I look around for the bowls and find them in the middle cabinet on the top shelve. Who the fuck puts bowls that high up?
A breath leaves my lips before I get on my toes, trying to reach for the bowl. I still can't reach that stupid bowl, making every acrobatic position, trying to somehow just get a touch of it.
When I try to climb the stupid counter a large hand grabs my waist, pulling me down. I can feel his hot breath blowing down on me and the heat of his body warming me when a veiny hand comes into view and grabs a bowl, putting it in my hands.
"Thank you." I mutter just above a whisper, but it seems like he still heard it when I feel his breath right beside my ear. "No problem, love. Must be some short people problems." I scoff at his comment but I can't get over how sexy his deep, raspy morning voice sounds.
Oh, man. I shouldn't be thinking like this about my enemy.
He steps away from me just when another person comes into the room. Ace leaves the room, not glancing back at anyone and totally forgetting what he was here for, because his water bottle is put on the counter.
"Well, hello there.", Daishi's voice interrupts my train of thoughts. I get back to putting a few spoons into the bowl. I look at him in concern.
He was never the one to stand up in the middle of the night. He was always the type who slept like a stone and wouldn't even wake up if a bomb would explode right here and then.
