"You are right. This is my first time entering a photography class. Commonly, I'm capturing things but I don't take them seriously. Just for fun that's it."
"Wow. May background ka na pala sa shooting. Akala ko first time mo talaga."
"Wala kasing nagtuturo sa akin kaya akala ko hindi pa talaga ako fully marunong. Pero, sa sinabi mo kanina feeling ko ang galing-galing ko na sa photography haha, I think I will be the best capturer of great memories."
Mahabang lintanya ko sabay kindat sa kaniya. Napapailing naman siyang umiwas ng tingin sa akin.
"Well, I noticed you don't have a tripod yet, I use a tripod a lot to make my shots steady." Change topic 'yan, Cyat?
"Bipod works, too." tatango-tango ko namang tugon.
"Huh?"
"It also works. Trust me. I hate it when my subject moves unexpectedly just before I take it."
"Yeah yeah, stolen shots from someone is nice if you are good at predicting its next move." Napangiti naman ako sa turan nito.
I'll be completely honest, I'm enjoying talking to Cyat.
"Also, blending in is important when stealing a shot so your subject won't capture you shooting at them, you need to show that you are not there. Just like what you did when you captured me, you used your phone instead of your DSLR so you won't get noticed easily." Dagdag ko sa sinabi nito.
"Kaso nahuli kita, medyo tanga ka sa part na iyon, Cyat." Pang-aasar ko ulit sa kaniya.
"Yes, that's a whole skill in itself. Pina-practice ko pa para maging kasing galing kita magtago ng feelings."
"Heh. Wala naman akong matatago, wala naman akong feelings sa 'yo!"
"Meron. Tingnan mo mamaya." His smirk is killing me. Nakakainis. Gusto kong umalis, but there's a part of me that wants to listen to him.
"Anyway, you know happiness is real when you execute a shot. And, millions of thoughts had been captured in that exact moment." I nodded as an agreement. A perfect shot, Cyat.
"Yes. So satisfying." I chuckled out of joy and he did too.
We swing together in rhythm, reaching the highest swing we can get while laughing.
It's truly euphoric when someone can relate to your thoughts.
"I love what I do. It's like you capture a life in that one moment. Freeze it. That light of a person, caught in a bottle, their essence frozen irrevocably. Whatever look they had on their face, whatever thought was going through their mind, just suddenly stopped in that one instant for all eternity." I shouted while swinging. Hoping he heard what I said.
"I feel you! I know that not everyone thinks much of this. Maybe it's not world-changing. But day after day, subject by subject, I think eventually I must be making a difference. Someday it will be noticed." He responded.
