I hope she believed me. Anyway I quickly fumble in my back pocket until my fingers graze the soft velvet texture of the box. "Close your eyes" I tell Scarlett. "Hold out your wrist." she does so and take out the white gold charm bracelet with a guitar and pick on. Like me Scarlett loves guitar and although it took me a few months to get all the money for this bracelet, it was worth the look on my bestfriends face when I tell her "open our eyes" scarletts green eyes widen at the sight of it and she does something I never thought would happen. In her excitement she grabs my face and pulls it closer to her and for a short moment of time her soft bright lips are collided with mine. It sends shivers down my spine and when her lips left mine I felt empty."oh my god?! Im so sorry I was just so happy and..God this is embarassing I mean ive just ruined everything and now where just gonna be awkward an.."before she could finish I reconnected our lips in a quick rough moment with my hands caressing her face. I pulled away and whispered softly in her ear " you didnt ruin anything... You made it 100x better"
And from that moment on I knew.
I was completley.
And utterly.
In love with my best friend.
