I walked towards his door. the hum of the music already being heard from the end of the driveway.it was Calum's birthday tommorow but it was his party today and I couldn't wait for him to see his present, he also said he had something important to tell me as well and I'm so excited.

I open the door, revealing a bunch of already drunk teenagers swaying half to the music and half due to the fact that they could hardly keep their balance. I squeeze through the people, getting stares every so often, damn it why did my bestfreind have to be so popular and so damn attractive that every girl in the school loathes me because they think we're dating?

I wish we were......

I finally find him in the basement, it's so much queiter down here and my other friends were down here too, Luke and his girlfriend Alice, Ash and Mikey with his sister Lauren.

"hey guys" I say and squish on the sofa next to Calum, he gives me a peck on the cheek that sends a tingling sensation go through my face and I'm absolutely positive I look like a tomato.

"make out already guys, there's too much chemistry in the room and not enough biology" Mikey whines staring at us. Annoyed, I threw a pillow at him and it lands square in his face, we all laugh until Lauren says

"guys I'm so bored, we should so play spin the bottle"

Nobody disagreed so we all circle up and Mikey grabs an empty bottle and places it in the center.

"okay guys, these are the rules, I spin the bottle once, whoever it lands on I have to kiss, then I pass it to the person next to me, they spin, the person it lands on they have to kiss and soon... you get me?" Mikey explains,

"I guess"

"yep"

"okay"

"I'm so not kissing my brother..."

"let's do it"

"wait guys, there are 4 boys and 3 girls, Ashton, go get a girl to play with us" I say, Ashton obeys and comes back with Jessica, one of my good girl friends, we say hi and finally start.

Mikey spins and it slowly lands on Alice, Luke tenses up and then relaxes as Alice gives Mikey a quick peck and returned back to her place next to Luke.

Ash was next and he got jess they kiss and I glimpsed at jess and saw that her cheeks had reddened, I text her asking her if she like dash, to which she replied yes and we had a little convo until I looked in front of me at the bottle, totally oblivious that we were still playing, so see it had slowly landed on me, I looked up to find Calum sheepishly grinning at me and blushing as Mikey screamed

"OMG,finally! I know this day would come I'm so happy-"

"Mikey ,shut up" I say trying to act cool " Calum's my bestfreind, that's it"

I look up at Calum to find his face sad but ignore it and lean in slowly and as our lips touch, I explode into fireworks, and he grabs my face to close the distance between us and suddenly I forget all about the game and all of the people in the room as does Calum as when we pull away for air, I'm snapped back into reality to find everyone in a stunned silence, gawping at us. I blush ferociously, but Calum just smiles and wraps his arm around my waist. Mikey breaks the silence screaming

"I am totally planning the wedding"

"shut up Mikey, umm will you come with me for a minute Lexi I just want to talk for a second" Calum says and I follow him upstairs to his room and out onto his balcony.

"happy birthday" I say and give him his present.

"omg Lexi a guitar necklace! I love it and I will never take it off I swear" he says.

"good because I have to chip to it" I say showing him the matching chipi had around my neck

"Lexi" he says, now looking into my eyes "I love you"

and with that sentence I feel complete as I look up at him with the same intensity and say

"I love you too"

And wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him, everything just felt...

Perfect.
