Kushi's family members

Kushi just ran to her family members and everyone is so overwhelmed after seeing her. They were so worried since they heard the news about huge floods in Chennai. Though everyday she called and informed them that she is doing fine, still it was very hard for them to think about her safety and how she is doing there as she was all alone in a new place.

Kushi was making sure  assuring everyone that she is fine and doing good. Arnav can only see them but couldn't hear their conversation. But from their faces he could tell how happy and excited everyone was to see their Kushi back. Unknowingly a small smile started playing on his lips seeing her family's love. He wish he also had such a family.

He saw Kushi lifting a small girl and talking to her making such cute cute faces. She gave her a kiss on her cheek and then immediately turned towards me with her eyes wide open and hitting her head with her palm. She quickly came running to me.

Sorry Arnav, I am so excited to meet my family members that I forgot about you.

Though I want to make a comment I don't want to risk it as we are with her family members now so I just nodded my head. I am still not convinced about her idea of me staying at her house. As if she identified my hesitation she just dragged me to their relatives by holding my hand with all her right.

I just looked at her hand and then towards her relatives, they were staring at our entwined hands so seriously that I am very scared of the outcome.  I started struggling with my hand to come out of her grip but Kushi is holding it so tight.What if they get angry and don't allow Kushi to come back to Chennai again? His mind is reeling with so many negative things right now.

He is Arnav. He also lives in our same apartment and a very good friend of mine. He helped me a lot in chennai during floods. He is also going to stay with us in our village she announced so proudly.

I am very scared of their reaction. As ASR I never worried about anything. But here the matter is about Kushi and I don't want to create any problem to her. To my relief someone came forward and said

Arnav babua, Kushi is very precious to all of us. Since the news of floods came we were so worried about her safety. Thank you so much for helping our kushi bitiya and taking care of her in such calamity. We are very relieved to hear that she is not all alone there but have a such good friend. Please continue to take care of her. She never brought any of her friends to home. If she has brought you here that means you should be very special to her.
( with that sentence I immediately turned towards her and we both had a small eye lock.)

Am I really special to you my eyes spoke to her eyes and she was like don't you know how special you are to me.

We came out of our eye conversation with the other person continuing like  "you can stay as long as you want. Please feel free here. Consider this place as your own and people here like your own relatives and friends. If you are Kushi bitiya friend then you are special to all of us too"

I looked at everyone and everyone nodded their heads as agreeing to him with a small smile. Suddenly I felt so relieved and Kushi started introducing everyone to me. The person who spoke to me is Rahim chacha.

Interesting I thought he is Kushi's family but how come Kushi has a Muslim family member I thought. The way she spoke to him anyone can say how close they both were. May be a family friend I guess.

She was about to introduce others too but Rahim chacha was like titiliya you want to spend next two hours here only. Your mother is eagerly waiting for you. So let's start now. It will take 2 more hour to reach our village.

Titiliya, I liked her new name. We all went outside the bus station and there were like 4 5 cars waiting outside. So we both sat in one car with Rahim chacha and two other children. The same girl I saw Kushi kissing and another boy who might be in his early teens like 13 or 14. Looks like they are very close to Kushi.
