Tommy heard it all, his own father thought he was dead. He didn't know if he should be happy about this or if he should be sad. He never planned on confronting the man after what he had done to Wilbur, but now knowing his own father thought he had committed suicide it made a huge pit in his stomach grow. Though, he did stay hidden until he left. He cried a lot, Technoblade having to comfort their father even though he knew the boy Philza was crying over was in one of the rooms upstairs hiding. Tommy just laid on the wooden floor, tail curled around him to keep himself warm as he listened to the two downstairs. Eventually, the older male left, leavingng the house once again in silence.
Tommy didn't move though, laying on the wooden ground even after he knew Phil was gone. He eventually heard Technoblades footsteps coming up the ladder, and to his room after a few minutes. "Tommy?" The blond stayed quiet as the older brother spoke. "Tommy, what's wrong?"
"Shouldn't I feel relieved he thinks I'm dead?" The raccoon hybrid says, still under the bed. He knew the older brother started kneeling onto the ground by the movements the other both could feel and hear as he spoke. "Why do I feel so sad?" It was a long pause before either brother tried to speak.
"Even if you and dad are on bad terms right now, dad does care about you, and you do care about him." He knew his older brother was right, even if he wanted to hate him for what he did to Wilbur, for killing his older brother, he couldn't bring himself to hate him, even if the memory still scarred him to this day.
"One day, I'll face him. I'm just not ready yet." Tommy felt the other grab onto his shoulder, guiding the other out from under the bed after he spoke.
"That's ok. The memory of Wil's death still haunts me too, Toms." Tommy's bottom lip quivered at his confession, but he urged himself not to cry. "It took me a long time to be able to look dad in the eyes again." He felt Techno ruffle his hair, a small smile forming on his lips from the affection. "I won't push you, just knowing you're willing to talk to him one day gives me enough assurance." Tommy smiles, almost picturing the other giving one back.
"Thank you, Techno."
One Day Later. . .
"Come on Techno! Come on!" Tommy yells from the cabin's entrance, the older brother smiling as he stuffed his feet into his boots. Tommy already sat in his winter clothes, the clothes that Technoblade had made for him. He wore a nice red sweater, a tan winter coat over that, and nice black jeans with brown boots that held rabbit fur in the inside to keep his feet from freezing. The bond stood impatient, dull eyes staring ahead as his tail swished with anticipation.
"I'm coming, calm down." Techno finally made his way to the entrance, seeing the blind teen already feeling around the door for the knob to open the thing. Techno couldn't help but chuckle, grabbing the younger's hand and guiding his hand to the doorknob. He grabbed onto it, smiling as he turned it and opened the wooden entrance. "There." He says, letting go of the male's hand and guiding him out of the house slowly. He helped the blind brother down the stairs, himself telling the other how he planned on helping him with his fighting skills once they sharpened his other still working senses.
"That won't be a problem for me, my hearing has always been extremely great!" He says, smiling in a prideful way as he explains. Techonblade knew Tommy wasn't lying, seeing as raccoon hybrids always had good hearing, he still remembers the many occasions he had tried to sneak past his little brother during their childhood, and got caught doing so by the little gremlin.
"I know, but still, sharpening them will help you more in the long run, don't you think?" Technoblade asks, trying to get the younger to see this from his side. It was silent as they forced themselves through the snow, but Technoblade knew he had convinced the other. "We'll go down into my mines. We can work on your hearing in there." He explains. Tommy's ears perk at his words, dull blue eyes looking at him.
"How will going into a mine help me with hearing?"
"Pinpointing, Toms. Something you will need to do if you want to live." He says. "You'll have to be able to tell where sounds are coming from, and the caves are the perfect training grounds. It echoes so it will challenge you as well." Tommy hums in understanding. "We'll also work on telling what sounds are what since that will also keep you from bumping into danger, literally." The piglin hybrid laughed at his own joke, though the teen seemed unamused by it.
"Haha, very funny, Techno." It was silent the last bit of their travel, Tommy stumbling every once in a while on the way. Technoblade once again helped the other down the mine stairs, making sure the other didn't fall. As soon as they walked in, Tommy heard their footsteps echo around them, bats from above squeaking filling the air around them as well.
"Now, why don't we get to work, yeah?" Techno asks, letting go of Tommy's hand and shoulder as he talked. Tommy, now hearing his footsteps echo around them, had no idea where his older brother was.
"Techno?" His voice was quiet, but since it bounced off the walls around them, it made his voice louder than it actually was.
"Yes?" Even having the other talk he couldn't pinpoint where the other was.
"I- where are you?" He asks, head frantically looking around to pinpoint the other.
"Go to where you think I am, Tommy. That is the whole point of this." He had a point, but Tommy was scared. He hated being alone, and he felt lonely and lost. Things he had only felt in exile up to this point. He heard the other walking around, the footsteps echoing around him. His ears desperately flicked around, trying to figure out where the source is coming from, fists balling in the process. Finally, he jolted forwards, reaching out for Techno only to meet air. He stumbled forwards, throwing his hands up in case he would ram into a wall. The footsteps stopped, a sigh from Technoblade filling the silence before he walked over, placing a hand onto the raccoon's shoulder. Tommy was frustrated, fists still balled and his own face contorted into a sour look.
"I'm never getting better, am I?" He whispers. Technoblade was silent at first, the older only bringing the other into a warm, reassuring hug.
"It will get better, I promise."

"Tubbo, you can't be serious." Dream growls out, fists balled as he sat in front of Tubbo's office desk. The president looked crazed, that if the other three that sat in the room with them were not there, he'd leap over the desk and rip his throat out.
"It's your fault he's dead, Dream!" The goat hybrid hissed, one of his hands slamming onto the desk loudly, making even Dream flinch. "And I will blame you to the end! You were in charge of Tommy, he died on your watch." His voice was cold, green eyes boring into his own. "This war is your fault, and I will keep you accountable for any death on either side." With that, Fundy and Quackity drew their swords, both glaring at the other as they did so.
"Let's go Dream, you're no longer welcomed in L'manburg." Quackity says, pointing his netherite sword at the other in a threatening way.
"This is your fault, Tubbo. Even if you want to blame me, it is your fault. Who was the one to exile Tommy in the first place?"
"Who's idea was it to exile him, Dream?" The room grew silent. "Because I know for damn sure, it wasn't me." Dream looked at Fundy and Quackity seeing both pointing their weapons at him, he gritted his teeth at the sight.
"You'll regret this, Tubbo. I'll make L'manburg fall to their knees. L'manburg will be mine to win, and it will be your fault for its downfall." Tubbo scuffed at his words, rounding the table and meeting Dream face to face, of course, the two holding weapons separating them.
"As much as you want to cover up your mistakes, L'manburg already knows the truth. It's your fault he died, and you will pay."
